principle of execution selection and ordering

Hi,

I'm thinking about a similar project in Python. What are the methods in infinitest used to determine which tests are executed and which not? What is the order of execution? I didn't find this documented anywhere, so could somebody describe it or point me to the class/classes where I could find out?
