5/9 Thursday Night Ride

It sounds like we are going to try something new for this week's team ride.  It sounds like we will be heading to Yellow Fork, which is in Herriman.  I have never ridden that area, but I hear there are some great trails.  Do any of you want to take lead on this one?  I am not even sure where to meet.

 

As always, invite anyone you'd like.  The only thing required to join us is a bike and a helmet!

I've been back there several times so I can show the group around (or tell you where to go so you can ride fast while I huff and puff catch up).

The trail head is in deep-Herriman.  Here is a satellite pic from a ride I've done there before.  I'll find/put together better directions online and send them out before the ride.

A couple of things to keep in mind:

• There isn't a ton of paved parking back there, and there are usually a lot of horse people later in the day.  So, consider carpooling or bringing your vehicle that you're not afraid to drive on some dirt.
  
• Driving up the canyon, there can be a lot of deer, so just keep an eye out for them

PS I missed you all at the Sundance Race yesterday, it was like a cross race, cold, wet, muddy...

You should come to the next one in Solider Hollow it is a fun series I prefer it over the midweek series. Better prizes, less/more easy going people, decent venues.
