Section UI Update - Deleting Issues?

Good morning everyone, 

I have a case with CIC but this isn't a bug or SIS yet. We seem to be the only reporter of the behavior so far.

If you have updated to 2543.6 & have the new UI on Section Info can you see if anyone is having trouble deleting a section? There are no students in it, there is no teacher attached, there is no error beyond 'delete failed'.  

 

CIC offered to have programming delete the ones I need gone.  They're in my adult degree completetion 'school' right now so it's not a hurry, however as our high schools start adjusting and cleaning things up for Spring semester this would cause them a problem.

I just tried the following in my sandbox and it worked:

Attempt 1

1. Create a new section

2. Delete section

Attempt 2

1. Create a new section

2. Add teacher to section

3. Delete section

Attempt 3

1. Find an existing section with no students

2. Delete section
