KEDS Question

Does anyone know what reports KEDS is expected to handle? Is it just the reports we used to submit through KIDS or will it also include other things like KCCMS, EDCS, KIAS, etc?

This is the question I've been having Stacy and no one seems to know yet - like will we still have to set up classes in KCCMS after next year? or will the info just be read out of the courses in IC?

We asked someone with KSDE once and no one knew.

My understand the goal is primarily replacing KIDS.  It might make KCCMS some of these irrelevant eventually, but that doesn’t sound like the immediate goal from what I’ve heard.

It is definitely still a work in progress….

At this point I am hoping for a better view on the state side of what records were accepted.  If it is happy with the submission it just smiles and doesn’t show you what was accepted in most of the fields.  If there are errors, you see only the first, for example on the last one I checked, 200 or 624 errors even on the export. (That one is a membership-attendance days disagreement, it is calculating my attendance days correct but not the membership days).  At this point the Edfi screens in infinite Campus are the best few of what is being submitted.
