Great News!
After an 11 minute call with Eric Gordee today at IC, we have great news about the PSA tracking within the Graduation and Academic Programs. There is a way to have multiple credit groups report to an Academic
Plan while still being under the main high school credit group, so it pulls on the Graduation Program. More to come, but we were excited to share with you all!
What does this mean and what are the next steps?
- School-based tracking that counselors and other staff will need to see who is on track can easily be handled by the Graduation Program. The examples
below are some examples of what it will look like. I have not updated them since our meeting today but this gives you something to share with those that may wonder what it will look like in IC.
- State Reporting is still being discussed. Today’s concern needed to be resolved first so more conversations can be held around if we are continuing with
the current plan. At this time, it is still being tracked through the On Track tab like last year. Student Information > State Programs > On Track
- Roll-out for Schools that want to track through Graduation/Academic Programs
- “Tracking Tuesday” emails each week will include screenshots and directions to try for setup.
- December Focus Group Meeting – troubleshoot any concerns
- December 16th State Meeting
- Review steps and discuss concerns
- Set timeline for 2nd Semester (work day, virtual meeting, etc.)
