We've used this module for similar reasons. It works well IF everyone in the school understands how it works. I don't know how big your school is and how many adults will be assigning students in the scheduler? We have a building with ~2000 kids and at one point only 1 person was trying to do all the scheduling. Not sure from your description if they are going to be assigned on the Monday while in the homeroom then go where assigned or if they are assigned ahead of time and then on Monday stop by homeroom on the way to the assignment?
We did not encounter a state reporting problem up until now as all the "responsive courses" have the state course code for a class on them. I'm curious to see how it acts with KEDS, guess we will find out
Happy to chat some more on phone or video call if you like about what we've learned here. It's great because you have attendance and tracking data for the intervention/enrichment assignments but everyone has to be using it the same way for it work.
