Gedcom import date conflicts

Hi, I just discovered this delightful program today. Love the formatting and other options. However when I import a Gedcom (with correct dates) the resulting charts show dates that are months and sometimes years off of what dates I have entered. Why would this be?

Did you try to change the "date parsing" format, in the "dates, places
and notes" pane? Some dates may respect the gedcom date format, while
some other may not, and this let you define how to interpret them.
