Yes; persons with no marriage record (as opposed to an existing marriage
record with no date or place) appear by default in red, but you can
change this in the "color" pane. Either uncheck "use color to indicate
person's conjugal status", or change the color for "no marriage" to
black.

Yes, these are called implexes. By default, the descendants of these
people are only shown once, because these duplicate branches can
considerably increase the length of large family trees. You can disable
the yellow highlight by unchecking "highlight implexes" in the implexes
pane, and you can also disable "automatically collapse duplicate
branches" if you wish.

My guess would be that you inadvertently bought the basic package
instead of the extended one. Which product appears in your Mac App Store
receipt? What happens if you open again the "purchase additional
features" item, in the application menu?
