Setting IB link speed.

How do I go about changing the rate of my QDR link from 40gbps to
10gbps.
Any advice is appreciated.

Here is what ibstat shows. Then I use
ibportstate 1 1 speed 1 to downgrade the link. But it doesn't seem to
have any effect. Running a two node switchless system with opensm.

Check your command syntax: ibportstate <lid> <portnum> speed 1
Also, you will need to reset the other end to re-negotiate: ibportstate <lid> <portnum> reset
