GW Instek is launching AFG-2225, its first basic level dual-channel arbitrary function generator, which provides superior features in its class. Both channels are equipped with same characteristics to fit dual-signal applications such as differential or IQ signaling. The outstanding cost-performance value makes the AFG-2225 a practical instrument to accelerate the development process.

In addition to the intuitive and friendly user interface, the 3.5-inch color LCD displays the comprehensive operation information including the true waveform presented at the output. USB Host and Device interfaces are equipped to link the AFG-2225 with other devices, which provide the flexibility of waveform generation for more practical usages. With link to GW Instek GDS-series Digital Storage Oscilloscopes (DSOs), the waveforms of interest can be captured and reconstructed. User can also use the arbitrary waveform PC software to edit the waveform and then send to AFG-2225 directly, or save the waveform into flash drive and then transfer to AFG-2225.

This schedule is subject to change without notice. If you have not received confirmation of the class prior to the class start, please contact the division at (800) 723-3811 or (800) SAFE-811 or [email protected] to get the latest schedule.

The FR 2225 report requests information needed to identify the foreign bank respondent and its fiscal year-end and to determine its capital and assets for purposes of daylight overdraft monitoring. The capital and assets items include the following: capital for the foreign bank parent, capital used by any direct or indirect subsidiary of the respondent that has its own net debit cap, the foreign bank's worldwide capital base calculation, the bank's worldwide assets, and the exchange rate used in the calculation.

The FR 2225 report provides the Federal Reserve with the foreign bank's worldwide capital figure, which, in connection with a net debit cap multiple, is used to calculate the bank's daylight overdraft limit.

This report was implemented in March 1986 as part of the procedures used to administer the Board's Payment System Risk (PSR) Policy. Under the policy, all institutions that maintain a Federal Reserve account are assigned or may establish a net debit cap. The net debit cap represents a maximum limit on daylight overdrafts incurred in that account on a single day or on average during a two-week maintenance period. The net debit cap is calculated by applying a net debit cap multiple to a capital measure. For a U.S.-chartered institution, the net debit cap multiple is applied to risk-based capital. For U.S. branches or agencies of a foreign bank, the net debit cap multiple is applied to a consolidated U.S. capital equivalency measure.

The FR 2225 reporting panel comprises foreign banking organizations with U.S. branches or agencies that wish to and are eligible to establish a non-zero net debit cap for their U.S. branches and agencies under the PSR policy.

In Echo Park, Los Angeles-based real estate investment firm Cypress Equity Investments (CEI) has received city clearances for the construction of a new multifamily residential complex near the busy intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Alvarado Street.

In November, the Department of Building and Safety issued construction permits to CEI for a new project at 2225 Sunset Boulevard. The new seven-story building, which received City Planning Commission sign offs in May 2021, will feature 176 studio, one-, two-, three-, four-, and five-bedroom apartments on an amorphous site which also fronts on Mohawk and Elsinore Streets. Plans also call for 203 parking spaces in a podium and basement garage.

Project entitlements for 2225 Sunset include Transit Oriented Communities incentives, permitting a building with greater height and density than normally allowed by zoning rules. In exchange, CEI would set aside 18 of the proposed apartments as deed-restricted affordable housing at the extremely low-income level.

Ottinger Architects is designing the project, which is depicted in renderings with a contemporary exterior consisting of metal panels and wood siding. The building would pare down in height to a four-story profile on Elsinore Street to the north. While the project would not incorporate ground-floor retail space, plans do call for project street-fronting live/work units along Sunset Boulevard.

"The floor plates act as extrusions out of and up from the topography," reads a design narrative. "Each floor plate is expressed as a continuous band of balconies or cornices that wrap around the building and the varied angles of the floors create movement and liveliness."

The proposed development joins a handful of similar multifamily residential buildings proposed near Sunset and Alvarado, including a mixed-use structure slated to rise at the site of Taix Restaurant. That project recently received a final sign off from the City Council.
