Dear all,
we are pleased to officialy announce the Interantional Training Camp "Road to Sheffield" for the next November 10th and 11th at Lignano Sabbiadoro (Udine,Italy).
The 50m pool is located in the "Bella Italy Holiday Village" and the accomodation as well.
Please note that there is not registration fee for teams and that the cost for player will be only 40 Euros with breakfast and 2 meals included (cheaper impossible! 😃).
There is also the possibility to book one extra night (same price and same conditions) for teams planning to come on friday.
We will have the pool available Saturday 14h-19h and Sunday 9h-12h. We can discuss later about the best way to use this time to build up our teams in view of Worlds Championship next summer in Sheffield. We are open to
proposals and depending on teams attending and time you will have the possibility to have a spot to work with only your players if needed. As selection process is probably still open in November there are not limitations about the number of teams you can register
if you want to use this training camp to test all your players.
You can find all the information about the program and the formats to fill in the attachments of this email.
Please read it carefully and respect the different deadlines to register your teams.

We hope to see you in Lignano and enjoy a week-end of great UWH with our yougest players!!!

I am Lorenzo Proia and I will be probably in charge of the Italian U19 mens team at the next Worlds in SHeffield next August 2019.
Togheter with Danila Staffoli and Laura Giacomini we are thinking about organizing an international training camp in Italy for next November to start the preparation of the worlds with our teams. The proposed date is the week end of 10-11th Novembre 2018. We will have a 50m pool available in LIgnano Sabbiadoro (the same pool where the CMAS 10th Apnea Indoor World Championship took place last June) and accomodation and meals available in the same sport center. The nearest airports are Venice and Treviso.
I am contacting you in order to know about your possible interest in joining this training camp with your players.
Up to the date we know that the pool is available and we would like to confirm it as soon as possible in order to don't loose this great opportunity.
About the organization of the training camp it will be open to any proposal you can have. There will be also the possibility to have some pool time alone with your boys (or girls) in case you will need as we understand that in November the selection process is not yet done. Of course you can bring more than one team in order to use this opportunity to have indications about the players to select for WOrlds.
So, I hope to hear from you a positive response as soon as possible in order to book the pool a give you also more details about orientative costs for accomodation and meals. Our idea is to keep the costs as cheap as possible with an all-in pack to offer in the same sport center of the pool (we already did it fot Italian competition and is a very good option).
I will be in Quebec to play the World CHampionship with Belgium Elite team, so we can meet there for those who will join in case you have more question.
