Is there a way to set the sleep focus only on the watch and not on the iPhone? I have turned off both mirror my phone options and the sleep setting is still on my phone. Tried to turn it off on the phone and it turns off the sleep focus on the watch at the same time still.

I re-tried this probe a few days later, but this time after a good night's sleep of 7 hours, I woke up at 6 AM to work on some assignments. This time, my focus rate was 91%. So much better, this is what productivity is supposed to look like, right?
Then, the Apple Watch fetches the data from the cloud server using a third party module called AlamoFire. Using the fetched data, the watch calculates the focus rate change depending on the whitelist and the blacklist.
FocusWatch is very versatile in its watch face designs. Using various metaphors, it is very easy to develop many different types of watch faces in different styles while maintaining the same codebase.
In this Mr.YouWho watch review we are going to be looking at the Mini Focus Chronograph watch. What initially gave us the idea to review this watch was the high amount of positive reviews the Mini Focus has been getting online.
As you can see the Mini Focus watch comes in a black box and is very well packed. On opening it up the initial impression is really good, it appears well crafted with a nice striking design. The light reflects nicely off the watch.
I agree with the reviews online saying this is a great quality watch. It feels really well made and high quality, the parts and the watch itself looks like it is made really well. It is a heavy watch and looks like it is made with a steel casing. The clasp and the band also really looks really good as well.
The Mini Focus watch has a number of functions including functional little sub-dials for chronograph minute, chronograph second, chronograph 1/10 second. It has a clear date display. It also has 3 buttons in the case to Start/Pause, Adjust time/calender and reset the watch as well.

So allow the notifications of cameras app in sleep mode by whitelisting the app in the focus mode set up and individually configure the notifications to be allowed on the phone but switched off on the watch. That should work.
I will soon switch from DND to sleep mode as it gives me watch face and home screen settings I like and think I will be able to configure it to my liking. That said I will probably use an old series 3 watch to sleep and it will have a minimalist install with only necessary apps

Now, the next piece of the health realm is sleep tracking. The Apple Watch Series 9 will automatically track your sleep for you, and then show the results on the watch as well as in the app. When you wake up in the morning you can tap the little bed icon on the watch, which is the sleep app, to see those results:
In terms of using this data for female health tracking, Apple will retroactively show estimated ovulation dates on the calendar (on the watch itself). That said, they have changed much in this realm since last year. I had hoped to see predictive ovulation data (like Oura and Whoop both do), but have instead held off on diving into that area. While historical data can be useful, most of the value of these sorts of features really comes from forward-looking period/ovulation estimations. Of course, there are also 3rd party apps that can do some of this as well, leveraging this data.
Heart Rate and Power Zones are configured via the phone. Note that Apple supports separate heart rate zones for both running and cycling, however for power zones, there is only cycling power zones (not running, despite having running power).

Or, this earlier look during beta this past summer, which also is about the same as it is now. Apple says the new plan is to have this rolled out to most of the US by the end of the year.
There are other options of course, RunGap being another popular one. Given Apple Watch and iOS are vast platforms with tons of apps on them, there are undoubtedly countless other options out there. In my case, I just use what has worked for me over the years reliably.
Looking at some heart rate bits here, taking a look at the run I did in LA, which was mostly steady-state with a few surges here and there, both the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Apple Watch Series 9 are spot-on with the chest strap:

Is there a third party app that allows you to check the gps fix before you start running? That you cannot ensure gps lock before you run is the one thing preventing me buy an Apple Watch and my Garmin 235 is on its last legs.
My w9 works perfect with stages powermetter (Power and cadence). But the problem is garmin speed. It is pairing, but not displaying speed data in the cycling outdoor app. Display speed is still shown but measured from GPS data not from the paired speed sensor.
