Butfor me price 8500$ is absolutelly unacceptable, for 99,99% customers more reasonable way is to buy MasterPro for half price od "super" MP. They both will have maybe not this same, but similiar range and speed.
Although it will be a hopelessly heavy wheel, now that they apparently plan to actually produce it, I hope they make it with a symmetrical battery configuration, instead of the weird lopsided 2700wh 3 pack's in the EXN
I want something with enough features, specs and QC to want to pay that type of money, sadly I think we're already getting ripped off buying the most expensive wheels, considering what you're getting and what you could get buying an alternate vehicle.
Don't forget the Vapcell F60 which appears to be a rewrap of FEB 12A 6000mAH cells. Initial reports are they do perform at their stated capacity albeit the cells are larger than typical 21700s. Mooch will be releasing his report soon.
The current Master Pro is 54kg right? why would 1200wh weigh 16kg+? If its around 60kgs I think this can be a pretty great wheel. If it's waterproofed like the a2 (and seemingly the ET Max as well) I might just have to buy it.
Wow, that is crazy. I am a long legged 6'3'' 265lbs guy with lots of riding experience and the 48kg of my EX 20 are pretty much all the weight I ever want to handle on a daily basis. I seriously cant imagine riding a wheel that is 15 or 20 kilograms heavier.
wow, obviously, 8500US = 11,500CAD. im laughing already....i find it borderline for myself to pick up a lynx (6100CAD after taxes), its simply insane... and the kicker is that these devices dont follow a strict code of QC, and the initial offering ALWAYS has teething problems. the euc manufacturers are laughing at us right now...just down right laughing their ass off as they wait to see what transpires in the next several months... kudos to GregX for pointing out the obvious...
$5800 or even $8500 is nothing for many people. They will spend that on a premium audio system for their car or for a nice mechanical watch or a diamond ring for their wife or a horse for their daughter without a second thought.

I recently found myself an uninked Master in Burgoyne CT, and very nice it is too, however, after doing my usual research and raking about, it would appear that the masters all had gold nibs, or did they?
I would have expected, purely by going by the name, that the Supermaster would be a superior pen to the Master, yet that doesn't appear to be the case, so is it possible that my Master CT does indeed have a gold nib, and the Supermaster was a "cheaper" (and slimmer) version.
According to my catalogue the Super Master has 23.6K gold plated clips, trim and nib. I would assume the Master to have the same. I always work on the principle if its not stamped as 'real gold' i.e. 14K etc then the base metal is steel.
Mine appears to be one of the later versions, I think, with chrome trim and steel nib, although it does have a c/f type press bar converter, unlike my Supermaster, which has the standard type converter, and of course, that could have been changed or added at anytime at all, therefore doesn't really mean anything.
I wonder if the were pulling the same sort of trick as the did in the mid-'90s with the Graduate/Allure/Apostrophe; different "models" for different levels of trim in the same shape of pen. If so, which one rightly claims the name Master? What we need is some dedicated philanthropist with a scanner and a copy of every catalogue and price list Waterman has ever issued. There's the superhero this forum cries out for.
Initially I thought that maybe the chromies were a later issue and Waterman had resolved the problem by their release, but it was still an issue with the Supermaster which came later still, so obviously coincidental.
When you create a new primary zone on the master server, all slave servers (the "Super Slaves" list on the master server) will be notified that there is now a new zone available. When a slave server receives such a notification, it first checks its master list (those listed in "Super Masters") to validate the master, then requests update information and creates the zone (as secondary).
Accept un-signed zone transfer requests from above IP addresses
Unless this option is checked, slave servers must TSIG sign zone transfer requests including zone list synchronization requests.
The acceptable TSIG keys for such signed requests are specified on the in the Zone Transfers section.
This server is secondary for all primary zones on the following DNS servers
List of master server IP addresses.
A TSIG key for signing zone transfer and zone list synchronization requests can optionally be specified for each master server.
Bulk refresh / verify zone lists every
Simple DNS Plus retrieves a list of zones and their current serial numbers from the DNS servers in the Super Masters list (above) at this interval.
It uses this list to synchronize both individual zones and the zone list.
If you have a lot of zones (thousands) you may want to enforce long "Refresh" values on secondary zones (see Secondary Zones section) in order to reduce synchronization traffic between the DNS servers.
Even with long "Refresh" values, secondary servers will still get zone updates almost immediately as they happen on the primary server because the primary server will send it a NOTIFY message (make sure to enable "Send NOTIFY..." in the Miscellaneous section on the master).
If you set this (Bulk refresh / verify zone lists every) to a slightly shorter value than the enforced "Refresh" value, the effect is that all secondary zones will be refreshed in a single operation at this interval, and never get around to refreshing individually. This is obviously much more efficient.
NOTE: This functionality (super master/slave) is unique to Simple DNS Plus, and is not currently supported by other DNS server implementations, so both master and slave must be running Simple DNS Plus.
NOTE: In earlier versions of Simple DNS Plus, this feature was called "Master/Slave" (without "Super").
This function has been improved in recent versions of Simple DNS Plus, but the main reason for adding "Super" was that new users often thought that "Master/Slave" was just different terminology for "Primary/Secondary" and therefore didn't realize the full potential of this function.
"Super Master/Slave" is fully compatible with "Master/Slave" in earlier versions.
