The Freeware Barcode Label Design Application is an easy-to-use WYSIWYG barcode label printing software application that prints barcodes, text, and graphics on standard laser and inkjet printers, as well as thermal transfer printers.
All other functionality of this free barcode software application is the same as the standard version, including advanced features such as basic VB scripting, serial number and constant fields, integrated database connectivity, and the ability to print labels from data stored in Microsoft Access, Excel or CSV files.
IDAutomation Barcode Label Software is an advanced, easy-to-use, WYSIWYG barcode label printing software application used for printing barcodes, text, and graphics on standard laser or inkjet printers, in addition to labels on thermal transfer barcode printers.
We had been working around a software that only allowed us to print one barcode at a time for months, but with this product, we are able to batch our barcode label printing and save ourselves hours of work. It only took 30 minutes to understand the process and write a guide for our employees to use. So simple.
If I make a field it does a weird thing were I can't click on it in the location I created it. I have to find it in the upper left of where it is viewing in the label. Not sure if it is a Windows 10 issue or not. It does the job after some playing with it. Just more of a hassle than anything.

By using the process outlined here, labels can be created that include barcodes, text, and graphics. After the label is created, it can be saved and retrieved for later use. Create a Custom Label Video
Label Fields (Available only in 2009 or later versions) may be used to simplify updates when multiple objects on a label use the same information. For example, a text object and a barcode object may contain the same serial number field that creates a unique incremented number for each label printed.
Label Fields may be constant values or incrementing numbers. Incremented number fields keep track of which numbers have been printed in previous print jobs so that each label has a unique number. When the label is opened the next time for printing, the serial number fields begin incrementing at the next unused number.
This barcode label software can link to columns in Microsoft Access, Excel, or a CSV text file as a data source for a text or barcode object, which allows the printing of labels from data in Excel and Access or from a file export from other software. IDAutomation's label software can also link to a custom embedded data source.
The Pro version contains additional advanced features including VB scripting capabilities, additional database connectivity, and support for QR Code, Data Matrix, MICR, DataBar, PDF417, and other 2D barcode types.
Priority support is provided up to 30 days after purchase. Additionalpriority support may be obtained if thePriority Support and Upgrade Subscription is active. Free product support may be obtained by reviewing the knowledgebase articles that are documented below and by searching the resolved public forum threads.
This is an easy to use professional grade barcode label design and printing software application that also contains many advanced features. It contains a built-in, embedded database for creating custom values in labels and also connects to comma delimited text files, CSV files, Microsoft Excel and Access. Barcode values can also be incremented or determined by VB script formulas. Static data can be easily appended to the beginning or ending of any variable data. It accurately prints ANSI and ISO compliant barcodes on any graphics printer, including thermal printers. The Pro version is also available with support for 2D symbol types such as DataMatrix, PDF417, Maxicode, MicroPDF, RSS and Composite symbologies. The Pro version can also connect to additional data sources including ODBC, DSN, Oracle and SQL Server. The download is fully functional and does not contain any limitations on the number of labels that can be printed.

I need help from anyone that has dealt with this before. I need to get this fixed so I can add a QR code to a section of this same customer label ASAP and this needs to be figured out first to do so. Please, any insight will be good!
Ramses, I have downloaded the recommended fonts to the zebra on the Windows machine in shipping that is using the Zebra and installed them. I do have the correct printer driver because all other labels print fine. I will try the firmware thing in the mean-time. All other advice is welcome. Thank you, Ramses.
Bartender is good stuff, but it cannot print labels from IQMS, only Crystal Reports and Label Matrix can print from labels from inside IQMS. Label Matrix does not have access to ALL of the IQMS database, where Crystal Reports does, so if you need complex labels, Crystal is your only solution, as it is FULLY integrated into IQMS, as the Crystal Run-time is installed automatically with the IQMS client.
Once I get this figured out or take it back down to shipping, I will still need to either figure out how to adjust the margins on the zebra printer, unless it has to be done in Crystal Reports? Because that is where the labels are generated and pulled from for this customer that needs the QR code added to their barcode labels, sooner than later. But like I said, my first issue is just getting the barcodes to show up and not the odd alphanumeric characters appended by an asterisk, if I remember correct. Funny thing is that at our other facility these Crystal Report labels print fine on their Zebra printer, just not here. And they pull the report from the same location on the network.
If still no bar codes, and fonts are installed, then look at the fields inside the Crystal Report where the bar codes are expected, and look at the type of field, is is a formula field, a text field, or perhaps an OLE field. If those fields are a formula, or a text, then the Fonts are still the most likely issue. If it is an OLE field, then the troubleshooting becomes FAR more involved.

Sorry for delay again. I was able to start this task again and got the labels to print from my computer to the zebra through IQMS. I am now ready to start the task of the QR code insertion, specifically for one customer that is requesting we start using it on our shipping labels. I will start by going to the ID Automation website. I will look into it more and also go over your suggestions more. All your advice for the QR code implementation is still fairly confusing to me and I greatly appreciate you knowledge thus far. I will be in touch and could probably use more help on this.
I need help to print something using Zebra T402 printer. Anyone knows how to do it or if you guys have any useful links that I could refer to? If there are any drivers available, that would also help. I tried to search everywhere but still couldn't do it. Previously i was using IDAutomation Barcode Label Software to do the printing but I'm thinking of automating it using LabVIEW.
You can send commands to just start a new label, add texts, barcodes, lines and more, and then print that label. You can also create a template, where your program only has to provide data for some placeholder fields. (For sure, there are tools for that.)
XA starts a new label, XZ prints the label. FO is the offset (in pixels) for the following object, which in my case is an ASCII encoded picture, generated by the code below. Even that is easy: Encode the picture row by row. Eight pixels form a byte, with MSB first. Therefore, you need to add some bits if the image width is not a multiple of 8.
Several companies in the grocery arena are now re-labeling their products using UPC-E bar codes to have more space for their marketing/product information. The store owner would like to put a bar code on the shelf tag (label). There is no UPC-E option on the bar code drop-down for an item so I'm assuming there is no integration in RMS to be able to generate a UPC-E. Has anyone dealt with this issue and what solution did you come up with?
