For dinner before the dance, a bunch of us are going to Cheeseburger
in Paradise at 5 p.m. It's just 1 exit south of the dance on I 69,
maybe 8 minutes drive. RSVP if you can, so we can warn the wait staff,
but if you can't, just come! It's a restauant, they're used to people
dropping in unannounced.

P.S. Save the dates:
Saturday, February 21, 2009 we're having a Special Saturday Dance at
a new new venue, the Riolo, 502 N. Capital. This is just 1 hour of
contra dancing, 7:30 - 8:30, to calling by John Teskey and recorded
music, then a couple hours of ballroom dancing to recorded music,
which is the Riolo's regular routine. We're doing this so we can try
out the floor and amenities, and get a feel for whether we would like
to use this site for future dances, and also to meet & socialize with
people in Indianapolis who do other styles of dance (fox trot, tango,
