Soccer Field

      I was once approached by an American player (Bill) who plays with us on Sundays that we should play on the fields near Carmel High School.  He said there were 3 official size soccer fields there.  It's off 136st and Keystone.  He suggested that we move our Sunday's game to Carmel High School fields, as you all know how terrible the field in Cool Creek is.  Because we were already in the middle of a season, I was hesitant to make the change.

      I was thinking if we can use Carmel High School field this Saturday for our practice game.  If we are not able to use it, we can easily go back to Cool Creek, as they are less than 5 minutes apart.  My cell phone is 317-340-4562, if case you need to get clarification on Saturday.

      Please share your thoughts on this.  If you have more information about this field, please feel free to comment.

You are doing a terrific job to communicate with us every week. So if
you do this again after we change field, it should be just fine. The
only concern I have is, will anyone try to charge us to play there?

     I actually have never been to the fields in Carmel High School.  I was hoping someone who live near by can verify if the fields are lined properly and are available on Saturdays.  If someone can check it out and let the team know, that would be great.

Team,

      I just got an email from Bill that the fields in Carmel High School are now setup for football season.  The soccer goals are removed, and the fields are lined for football.  So it is no longer an option for this weekend's practice.

      Unless someone else from the group has a better location, let's plan on having our practice session this Saturday in Cool Creek park @5:00pm.  Hopefully the rain last night and today helps the field to recover a little from the drought.

      I am relying on key players such as Zhan Li, James Li, Shen Lei, and Shi Peipei to help me coordinate this practice.  Please help spread the words around.  Last week, we had a good practice game on Saturday with about 15 players, though only a couple of people responded to my original email.  

      See you this Saturday.
