3500 TCD Sugar Unit
M. S. Patil Sugars Limited is setting up a Sugar Unit having a capacity of 3500 TCD along with 15MW Bagasse Based Captive Power Plant in Bijapur District in Karnataka.

Co-generation Plant : 15 MW
Location :
Bijapur District, Karnataka
As 0n January 27, 2011 : The project is Under Planning Stage.
The project would come up on about 108 Acres of Land .
IMPORTANT: As per the discussion we had last with
Mr. Mr.M.S. Patil, Managing Director, Of M. S. Patil Sugars Limited on 20.01.2011, the Project is just at initial stage.
The Project work is expected to start within a Month or two ie. from February/ March 2011.
As per Mr Patil, the the project has the provision to expand the Crushing Capacity of the Sugar Unit upto 5000 TCD in future.
M/s.Hi-tech Engineering Corporation India Private Limited, Pune, has been appointed as the Turnkey Contractor for this Project (See Contact details of H-tech Enginnering Below)

Grass Hoper :
One single tray grass hopper Conveyor of 2 M., width and 12 M
Two multi tray grass hoppers, each of 2 m. width and length not less than 12.0 m. shall be driven by 15 HP TEFC electric motor with hot air blowing arrangement on the first multi ]tray unit (after conveyor hopper), cold air blowing in the second hopper shall be provided.
Sugar lump separating unit shall be provided on second hopper. Two separate blowers shall be provided for hot and cold air blowing.
The hopper eccentric shall not be less than 16 mm and its driving shaft speed shall be 250 to 300 RPM. Portion of the hopper where connecting rod is fixed shall be strengthened by 10 mm plate, 1 metre wide. The hopper shall not be welded on longitudinal seams. Each hopper shall have two connecting rods.
All drives, slats etc. shall be similar and interchangeable. A lump breaker shall be provided on first hopper.

Suger Melter : 15 Tons/hr. for melting sugar lumps
