Pioneer Industries Limited. is setting up a Total Grain Based Distillery Unit of Capacity of 75 KLPD (Expansion : From 50 KLPD to 125 KLPD) near Pathankot Dist. In Punjab.

As 0n July 14, 2010 : The Company has obtained the Clearance from Ministry of Environment and Forests.
The Expansion of the Project will be within in the existing premises having land area of 9.0 ha.
IMPORTANT: As per the discussion we had last with Mr. S.S. Tomar, Vice President Of Pioneer Industries Limited. on 08. 07.2010, Machineries and Equipment have not yet been procured so far for the Expansion Project.
Civil Construction For the Expansion of the Project yet to be started which will take about 5-6 months to complete.
After Civil Construction is over they will Start Procurement of Plant & Machineries.

The Main Scope of Supply includes:
Boiler: 25 TPH(Fuel:Agriculture waste/Rice Husk
(To meet the steam requirement of 500 MT/Day.)
Heat Exchangers, Air Pre-heater/Economiser)
Air Pollution Control Equipment :
Fly Ash Arrestor/ Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP)
To control the particulate emissions from the 25 TPH Bagasse fired Boiler, Fly ash Arrestor/ Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) will be installed. The emissions will be dispersed through Stack of 32 meter height.
Water Treatment Plant, Effluent Treatment Plant,
Pumps Valves, Custom Pipeline Work
Fresh water requirement of 2123 m3/day will be met from the Ground Water source.
The water requirement to be followed through Conservation And Recycling of Water and kept below 10 kl / kl of Alcohol Produced.
About 1000 m3/day of Effluent will be generated.
Total Effluent Treatment System and Scheme to be installed for achieving zero discharge.
The spent wash after distillation will be fed to centrifuge decanter to remove the solids. The spent wash will be evaporated in the Multiple Effect Evaporator and after evaporation; concentrated sludge will be dried to produce DDWG, which will be sold as cattle feed.
DG set : Power requirement of 1.7 MW will be met from the own generation (3.00 MW) and balance from the power grid. It is proposed to install a DG set for Emergency during the failure of Power.
Material Handling Equipment : Conveyor, Hydraulic Equipment/Cranes,
DG Set, Air Compressor. DC/VFD Drive, Gear Box, Insulation, Valves, Pipes & Tubes, Cables, Automatic Weighing Machines for Bulk & Liquid Materials.
Straight Line Steam Tunnel
Pneumatic Piston Filler, Hoses,
Pressure Filler, Storage Tank, Additional Laboratory Equipment for Expansion of Project.
Fire fighting System as per TAC norms,
Fire Fighting System shall be as per the TAC Norms and cover all areas where alcohol is produced, handled and stored.
Provision of Foam System for Fire Fighting to control fire from the alcohol storage tank.
Green Belt Development plan in 33 % area and a scheme for Rainwater Harvesting have to be put in place.
