The Main Scope of Supply includes:

Boiler : 10 TPH - 1 No.

Fuel : Coal (Consumption: 25 TPD)

Stack : 32 Meter (Dia : 600 mm)

Heat Exchangers, Air Pre-heater/Economiser)

Wet Scrubber for arresting fly ash

Air Polution Control:

There will be one nos. of flue gas stack which are the main emission source from the plant.

Proper Stack height and air pollution control measures will be provided in order to achieve norms prescribed by statutory authority.

For Boiler Cyclone separator. & Bag filter will be provided with 32 Meter of Stack for 10 TPH Coal Fired Boiler.

Scrubber will also be provided.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS:

METFORMIN HYDROCHLORIDE

Dimethylamine hydrochloride reacts with Dicyanodiamide in the presence of Xylene

and Water Solvent media to produce aqueous layer containing Metformin

Hydrochloride which is purified with Activated carbon in the presence of Methanol

Solvent media to produce Metformin Hydrochloride..

ELETRIPTAN

Stage-1

A solution of 5-bromoindole, phenylvinylsulphone, Palladium acetate, tri-Otolylphosphine and triethylamine is heated to 90-105 °C for 6-15 hrs in DMF.

The reaction mixture is cooled to RT and diluted with DCM and filtered over a bed of

filter. The filtrate is washed with water and brine and dried over sodium sulphate.

The organic layer is concentrated under vacuum and product precipitated from

DCM & hexane as a solid.

Stage-2

A suspension of (E)-5-(2-(phenylsulphonyl) vinyl)-1H-indole in methanol, THF and

Pd/C is subjected to hydrogenation at 45-50 psi. Upon completion of the reaction

he catalyst is filtered off and solvent removed under vacuum to provide an off white solid.

Stage-3

To a solution of Cbz-D-Proline in DCM, Oxalyl chloride is charged and allowed to

stir at RT for 1 hr. The solvent is distilled and the reaction mass is diluted with

DCM. In a separate step Ethylmagnesium bromide is added to 5-(2-

phenylsulphonyl)ethyl-1H-indole in DCM and cooled to -20 °C and add ZnCl2

followed by prepared CBZ-prolinyl acid chloride in DCM and stirred for 10 hrs at -15

to -25 °C. Upon completion of the reaction, cooled to RT and diluted with DCM. The

organic layer is washed with Sat. Ammonium chloride solution, Sat. Sodium

bicarbonate solution and brine. This layer is dried over sodium sulphate and

concentrated under vacuum to give pure product.

Stage-4

To a suspension of LAH & THF, add (R)-benzyl 2-(5-(2-(phenyl-sulphonyl) ethyl)-1Hindole-3-carbonyl) pyrrolidine-1-carboxylate at 0 °C and then slowly heated to reflux.

Upon completion of the reaction in about 3-5 hrs, the reaction is cooled to 0-5 °C

and add NaOH, water. The solids are filtered and washed with THF and the filtrate

was distilled under vacuum. The residue is extracted with DCM and dried over

sodium sulphate and distilled to give crude compound. To the residue add DCM and

Oxalic acid, the oxalate crude is washed with ether and made basic and extracted

with DCM. The organic layer is dried over sodium sulphate and distilled to provide

the Eletriptan.

SERTRALINE HYDROCHLORIDE

Stage-1

α-Napthol when reacts with Di chloro Benzene in presence of Aluminum chloride

produces stage-1 compound. The product is isolated in Methanol.

Stage-2

The above compound on condensation with Mono methylamine produces stage-2

compound. Methanol is used as solvent.

Stage-3

This stage compound is obtained when the stage-2 product undergoes reduction

reaction in acidic medium. Methanol is used as solvent.

Stage-4

Finally pharma is obtained when stag-3 product is treated with D (-) Mandelic acid in

Ethyl Acetate medium. The compound is purified with carbon and water. The pharma

is crystallized in Methanol.

CHLORPHENESIN

Stage-1

Epichlorohydrin is treated with water in the presence of Phosphoric Acid to get 3-

Chloro-1-2-Propane diol.

Stage-2

Parachloro phenol is reacted with 3-chloro-1-2-propane diol in the presence of

Sodium hydroxide solution. The resulting compound is extracted into dichloroethane

and the solvent and product is distilled to get almost pure material as liquid product..

Stage-3

The Liquid Product is crystallized from Isopropyl ether to get pure crystalline material.

Effluent from process, washings and scrubbers will be sent to Stripper, Multiple Effect Evaporator followed by ATFD and Biological treatment system.

Domestic effluent shall be sent to septic tank followed by soak pit.
