Rajasthan State Ganganagar Sugar Mills Ltd. is setting up  a 1500 TCD  Sugar Mill to produce Premium Quality White Sugar along with  a 4.9 MW  Biomass Based Cogeneration Power Plant  in Sriganganager District, Rajasthan.

Captive Power Plant   4.9 MW

As 0n  May 20, 2011The Project is in planning stage.

 

The company has invited bids to carry out

Designing, Manufacturing, supplying , Erection and commissioning of the required Plant and Machineries.

As per him, in  April/ May, 2011,  the  Company will  officially invite  the  Bids to Carry out Designing, Manufacturing, Supplying , Erection and commissioning of the Required Plant and Machinery.

The Main Scope of Supply includes:

Boiler : 40 TPH  Fuel : Bagasse

 Heat Exchangers, Air Pre-heater/Economiser)

Wet Scrubber for arresting fly ash

 

Air Pollution Control Equipment :

Wet Scrubber is proposed for the boiler to contain the dust emissions from the plant within the prescribed pollution control norms.

 Besides above the height of the stack; which disburses the pollutants is to be fixed based on the guidelines given by the pollution regulation of the state.

Ash handling system

Ash handling system collecting ash from furnace, Combustion chamber ,Economiser, air heater and wet scrubber shall be transported by

Belt Conveyors to a Silo to be provided.

Turbo Alternator :

One turbo alternator set of 6875 KVA (5500 KW at 0.8 power factor), 11 kv controlled extraction cum bleed cum condensing multistage turbo alternator with synchronizing and control equipment for grid.

All the Conveyors will be covered with GI sheets to prevent the fugitive dust emission into the atmosphere.

 

Cooling Tower

Cooling water system The system shall cater to the requirement of the condenser for the 4.9 MW turbo generator, the auxiliaries of the turbo generator and the auxiliaries of the steam generator. A two cell, induced draft (1 running, 1 standby) cross flow cooling tower, to meet the cooling water requirement for the co-generation plant shall be provided.

Air conditioning and Ventilation system :

The main plant control room housing the controls for the boilers and the turbo generators shall be air conditioned with split air conditioners and suitable exhaust fans to ensure effective ventilation and dust free atmosphere.

Air compressor (One standby) capable of supplying 500 cub. m air at

1kg/cm2 pressure

11 KV/415 V distribution Transformers:

For plant load (Type Out-door ) : 3 Nos

Rating 1 x 2.5 MVA (Boiling house), 1 x 1.25 MVA (Distillery),1 x 2.5

(power house , & other plant load).

Weigh Bridges (For Cane Milling Plant) : 3 Nos

50 Tonnes , 30 Tonnes and 20 tonnes capacity .

Cane Handling and Feeding Arrangement :

Two bridge with one trolley for each of three motion, having hydraulic grab system

 (5 T SWL Capacity). The crane shall be of 3 motion electrically operated overhead unloading crane conforming to class IV IS ; specifications and capable of 24 lifts per hour. In each lift hydraulic grab shall lift at least 2.5 tonnes of cane.

Mill Drive :

Motors : 4 Nos

 Rating 400 HP , 1000 rpm base speed, 3 phase, squirrel cage AC VFD Drive

 induction motor.

Rotary Screen    :     for juice screening-

Bagasse belt conveyor A belt conveyor is to be installed to receive the bagasse from last mill discharge chute and to carry it to bagasse elevator. The length of the bagasse belt conveyor shall be10.0 meters and width 1200 mm. Its inclination shall be around 5º with horizontal and be driven by motor of 10 HP coupled to a suitable Helical Reduction Gear Box etc

Bagasse Elevator : To carry about 30 tonnes of bagasse per hour.

Crane and Gantry: For Mill House

One three motion electrically operated overhead mill house travelling crane conforming to class II IS specifications having one crab of 15.0 tonnes SWL capacity & with box type design and one HOT crab of 2 T SWL capacity with independent trolley complete with crane gantry to be provided.

 

Clarifier : 1 No. > 7315 mm dia.

Vacuum Filter

Injection pumps : 3 Nos

Injection Pump for Evaporator One injection pump capable of delivery

300 m3/hr. water against head 22 mtr.

Injection pump for pans :

Three injection water pumps capable of delivering 900 m³/hr. water against head of 22 m when condensers are placed at 10.5 m level. Two working and one standby

 

Sugar Receiving Gross Hopper : 1 No.

One receiving hopper vibratory type shall be provided below batch type A-centrifugal machines. The hopper shall be made of M.S. plate and will be suitable to convey 10 -12 t/hr. Effective width : 1500 mm Length : 12000 mm Drive : 10 BHP TEFC motor

 

Sugar Belt Conveyor : 1 No.

An inclined toughed belt conveyor positioned to received wet sugar from the

Grass Hopper Coveyor.

 

Fluidised Bed Sugar Dryer : 1 No.

To dry and cool the sugar received from belt conveyor suitable for bagging.

 

Water Treatment Plant, Effluent Treatment Plant,

Oxidisation Chamber,Filter, R.O. Plant.

Pumps Valves, Custom Pipeline Work

R.O plant : 10 m3/hr capacity for  water requirement of the boiler.

M.S. storage tank of 1500 H.L capacity, to be provided to store the treated water from the treatment plant.

Pumps : 2 Nos of 50 m3/hr capacity and of 25 meters head will be required to pump the water from treated water storage tank to feed water tank.

Polishing plant : For hot condensate from Evaporators & Pan along with Cooling System having capacity of 10m3/Hr and one storage tank of

40m3 M.S. construction .

 

Effluent Treatment System and Scheme

The sugar effluent shall be treated based on Two Stage Aeration System, the State of the Art technology. The treated effluent shall be utilized on its own land for land application.

 

Liquid effluent from sugar mill : 960 M3/Day
