S. K. Solvochem Pvt. Ltd.  plans to set  up a Synthetic Organic Chemical Production Unit
having Capacity of  1,500 Ton/Year at Nimbua Village, Tehsil : Dera Bassi in Mohali District, Punjab. 

Capacity :  1,500 Ton/Year

Following Products will be manufactured in the proposed plant : 

  1. 2-Ethyl Sodium Hexonate                          :     500  Ton/Year
  2. Acelofenic                                                   :     150  Ton/Year
  3. Cloxacillin Sodium                                      :     100  Ton/Year
  4. Ofloxacin                                                    :     150  Ton/Year
  5. 6-Amino Pencillanic Acid                           :     150  Ton/Year
  6. Cephalexin Monohydrate                           :     100  Ton/Year
  7. Pentoprozole                                              :       50  Ton/Year
  8. Atenolol                                                      :     150  Ton/Year
  9. Clarithromycin                                           :     150  Ton/Year

As on  January 14, 2014 : The Project is under Planning Stage . 

Total site area   is  6000 Sq. Meter.

An area of about  33%  of the total project area will be developed with green belt.  

IMPORTANT: As per the  discussion we had on 02.01.2014 with
S. K. Solvochem Pvt. Ltd.   the Project  is  under Panning Stage.

    The company is waiting for Environmental Clearance.

   The Project Work  is likely to start by March, 2014.

 The Project   is Scheduled to be  Completed in 10-12 Months
From the date of commencement of the project work.

Multi Cyclone Dust Collector


The plant shall be provided with Multi cyclone Dust Collector

for collection of the fly ash that would be produced from the Process of coal combustion in Boiler Furnace.


• The properly designed chimney having height and diameter as per norms 

   of pollution control board will be provided. 

• Sampling point for stack sample will also be provided as per norms 

   of Punjab Pollution control  board.



Scrubbers

To control emissions from Process Vents adequate Scrubber will be installed.

Two Scrubber will be provided, connected to Reaction Vessel to control vapors of

Hydrochloric Acid and Sculpture dioxide.

 MANUFACTURING PROCESS

2 Ethyl Sodium Hexonate

• Charge 1200 Lt. 2 EHA (2-Ethyl Hexanoic Acid in Reactor and cool up to 15°C - step -1. Charge 100 Lt. H2O in a reactor and & add 10 kg NaOH in reactor stir for 30 minutes & cool to 20°C - step II. Add step II in step I and maintain temperature up to 25°C and check

pH 7.5 - 8.0. Filter it though sparkler filter with activated carbon bed. Collect filtrate in reactor Vacuum Distillation up to viscous slurry. Take this in CE & dry. Dry weight 1250 kg.

Acelofenic

Charge 500 kgs Volta chloride (Voltarol emlugel) in a Reactor add AlCl3 100 kg at normal room temperature, stir for 2 hrs. Cool it up to 80-90°C. Filter it though sparkler filter with activated carbon bed. Dehydrate it with CH3OH 200 ltr. & distilled CH3OH. After distillation of CH3OH add 10% NaOH, solution for Crystallization completely at temp. 

40°C. The centrifuge the material & sent to drying in tray Dryer. Dry at 50-55°C and get output - dry weight 475 kg.

6-Amino Pencillanic Acid (6-APA) – Mol Wt. - 216

• Charge DI water 100 lt at the room temp & change 50 yrs pen G k stirs for 20 minutes to dissolve pen - G K Completely transfer pen G K solution to another reactor which is Enzymatic with auto control ph system with 2-3% Ammonia solution pH 7.5-8.0 that will be taken around one to one & half hours up to pH should be stable. This reacted mass taken into another reactor which already have 250 ltr. MDC stir for 15 minutes & allow to settling. Separate MDC layer into collector.

 Remaining solution is crystallized with HCL solutions pH 4.2 white crystals. Take into centrifuge 7 wet crystals dry in Tray Dryer for drying at temp 40-50°C get out put 25 kg.

Cloxacillin – Sodium 

• Charge 6 APA - 50 kgs + 20 Ltr. Tea stir 2 hrs. add ace amide and stir for 30 minutes & Heat upto 40°C charge CIMC 25 kgs at 40 degree stir for 2 hours add sodium-2 Ethyl hexonate 25 kgs stir for 1 hrs at 30 degree Celsius and allow for setting. Layer separate MDC and give NaCl treatment. Centrifuge and wash cake with acetone 50 lts. Unload thewet cake and sent to Dryer. Dry at 40 degree Celsius get output dry weight is 100 kgs..

Ofloxacin 

• Take 2,3,4- Trifluoronitrobenzene in Aerator at room temperature and add 10% KOH solution for 2,3 - difluoronitro phenol formation check clarity OK. Then start adding K2CO3 & monochloro acetone solution at 10-15 degree Celsius for formation of 1-(2 3

difluoronitor phenoxy) proporn-2 orne take it into for Raney Nickel treatment with diethylethoxy methlene malonate at pressure 4.5 kgs for 3 hours. It forms Acidester and adjusts pH will HCL after reflux for 2 hours. After the HCl treatment takes for consideration with N-Methypiperazine. Now ofloxain slurry centrifuge and dry at 50 degree Celsius for 2 hrs moisture less then 1% and get output 150 kgs.

Refrigeration
The manufacturing process requires refrigeration to maintain temperature at below zero degree
in certain processes. For the purpose of maintain the required temperature in the process of
manufacture the company has made suitable provisions in the project for installation of Brine
chilling, Water chilling, Cooling Towers, etc.

Solvent Recovery System
Solvent (of different types) requirement is pronounced in the manufacturing process which is
available in contaminated form subsequently. An independent SRS is proposed to recover
purified solvents for their effective reuse. This will also reduce the pollutional load
significantly.

Vacuum
Vacuum is required to maintain various process reaction conditions as well as solvent recovery
system. Mechanical vacuum with booster arrangement will be employed for the purpose

Water Treatment Plant:

The total water requirement will be 40m3/ Day

The primary source of the water will be tube wells to be installed at the site.

To meet the requirement soft water and Demineralized water, Water softeners, and DM Water Plant of required capacity will be installed.

The unit will need water for:

d) Boiler feed water make-up

f) Water treatment (RO/DM) plant maintenance

g) Air pollution Control system (for wet gas cleaning processes)

Effluent Treatment Plant:

Waste water from other sources floor washing, boiler blown, and cooling water blow down
scrubber and quality control lab, water recovered from MEE would be sent to effluent  Treatment Plant,

The project will produce <15 m3/day of process effluent and <2 m3 of domestic wastewater
   
The proposed ETP will be well designed to treat 15 m3/Day Effluent.
