Fermentation/ Biological/ Chemical Routes & Speciality Chemicals) 

those are widely used for Pharma, Paper, Cosmetics, Yarn, Leather 

and Other Industries   having Capacity of 2,14,150 Ton/Year 

in  FIRST PHASE and 66073 Ton/Year in  SECOND PHASE  

at Dahej-II Industrial Estate, Vagara Tehsil in Bharuch District, Gujarat.

Capacity : 5.0 Lac Kcal/Hr - 1 No

Boiler : 6 TPH     - 1 No.

Fuel   :  NG- 415 Nm³/Hr, LDO : 437.5 LPH

Air Polution Control:

There will be no process emissions from Phase1 as all the manufacturing activities will be

carried out in closed condition. Process emission will be generated after Phase2 of the

proposed project. Bag Filters will be provided to Spray Dryers to control these emissions.

 

Spray Dryer :   Height : 11m Dia : 300 mm.

 

MANUFACTURING PROCESS:

FERMENTATION PRODUCTS (ENZYMES):

• Adding of Carbohydrates (carbon), Proteins (nitrogen), Mineral Salts, Additives, water and

Microbial culture in Seed Vessel. Adding of Carbohydrates (carbon), Proteins (nitrogen), Mineral Salts, Additives, water in a fermentor, followed by addition of material from seed vessel.

• After 5 days of fermentation with inoculated microbes, fermentation broth is formed

containing microbes, enzyme and unhydrolysed substrates.

• Adding of  filter aid on filter to aid filtration. Filter the broth through press filter. The residue called wet cake, consist of microbes and unhydrolysed substrates which is a byproduct i.e. Nutrient Powder.

• The filtrate consists of enzyme. Now it undergoes ultra filtration, the permeate of ultra

filtration goes to the ETP and the concentrate which consist of enzyme undergoes

microfiltration. The concentrate is Spray Dried and the product i.e. Enzyme is obtained.

• Acid, Alkali, Antifoam and Water from the dosing vessel is added in the fermentor as and

when needed..

METHYLCOBALAMIN:

• To Charge 200 litres of methanol in a Reactor.

• To Add cynocobalamine & mix for 30 minutes.

• To Add water, cobalt chloride and monomethyl oxalate.

• After completion of reaction the liquid is passed through column.

• To The solution obtain is crystallized.

•  After QC approval, to pack the material.

OX BILE EXTRACT :

• To Charge 200 liters of ethanol in a Reactor.

• To Add fresh bile paste & mix for 45 minutes.

• After complete dissolution to add filter aid in solution.

• To Take the solution for filtration.

• To Dry the cake formed in the Tray Drier.

• To Pulverize the material into fine powder.

• After QC approval  to pack the material.

 

SANITIZERS & DISINFECTANTS:

• To Charge water in a Vessel.

• To Add Ethanol & Tri Ethanol Amine & mix for 30 minutes.

• To Add Propylene Glycol & Glycerol & mix for 30 Minutes.

• Then to add Alpha tocopheryl acetate & Fragrance & mix for 10 minutes.

• On QC approval filter, to unload the material and pack.

PRE-TREATMENT AUXILLARY:

• To Charge the Starch- Modified potato Starch, Borax & Polymer Acrylic Acid base in

blender/mixer.

• To Mix for 10 minutes.

• Then to add Polyvinylpyrrolidone K-30, Polymer - Sodium salt, Polyvinyl alcohol, cokooidal

silica, Acid - Oxalic acid & Aluminum trichloride & mix for 60 minutes.

•  To Send samples in QC check if OK then  to unload & pack

DYEING AUXILLARIES:

• To Charge water in a Reactor

• To Add castor oil ethoxylate & acetic acid & mix for 30 minutes

• To Add sodium sulphate & dispersing agent in 60 minutes slowly

• Then to add AOS & ceto steryl alcohol ethoxylate in 30 minutes

• On QC approval to  unload the material and pack.

Effluent Treatment Plant:

Capacity : 300 m3/ Day

 

The domestic waste water generated from the first phase will be 1.1 m3/Day and after Phase2 it will be 4.2 m3/Day which will be disposed off through Septic tank/ Soak-pit system.

 

The Industrial  effluent generated will be 74.2 m3/Day for Phase1 and

215.8 m3/Day after Phase2.

 

The industrial effluent will be treated in the proposed ETP and finally disposed to CETP through underground  drainage system after confirming the CETP inlet norms.

The reject of ROs will be sent to Multiple Effective Evaporator (MEE) followed by Forced Evaporation for further treatment.
