Black Rose Industries Plans To Set Up
10,000 TPA Capacity Chemical Plant

Black Rose Industries Ltd. plans to set up a chemical Manufacturing Unit to produce Acrylamide Acrylamide [50% aqueous solution] having Capacity of 10,000 Tons/Year at Jhagadia in Bharuch District, Gujarat.
Capacity : 10,000 Tons/Year
Location : GIDC, Jhagadia, Bharuch District
Gujarat.
As 0n October 16, 2012 : The Project is under Planning Stage.
The unit would come up on about 34,076 sq.m. of Land .
Green belt will be developed in 12,540 Sq.m of Land out of
above 34,076 sq.m.
IMPORTANT: As per the discussion we had on 03.10.2012 with Black Rose Industries Ltd. the Project is under Panning .
Environmental Clerance:
The company has Obtained the Environmental Clerance on
August 07, 2012.
Note :
Despite the company’s best efforts, there was a Delay in receipt of
Environmental Clearance.
The clearance was finally received on August 7, 2012.
With this clearance, the company is now able obtain requisite approvals from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board and others for establishment of the plant.
The project work is likely to start within a month or two.
(The company plans to start commercial production at the plant by the end of the
4Q FY2013, a year delayed from the original estimate
of 4Q FY2012.)
The Project is Scheduled to be Completed by
by December, 2013.

The Main Scope of Supply includes:
Boiler : Small Industrial Boiler
Capacity : 800 Kg/Hour : 1 No.
Fuel : HSD (500 Liter/Day)
Air Pre-heater/Heat Exchangers
Air Pollution Control:
Adequate stack height as per the prevailing norms shall be provided for flue gas emission.
Acrylonitrile tanks shall be Blanketed with Nitrogen Gas with alarm system.
Sprinkler system shall be provided for tank protection in case of fire. Fire hydrant system with adequate number of riser and jet monitor shall be
provided in and around Acrylonitrile tank farm.
All the Storage Tanks shall be fitted with appropriate controls to avoid any leakages.
Close Handling System for chemicals shall be provided.

Reaction Vessel
Rotary Vacuum Dryer (HRVD)
Spin Flash Dryer
Reactor
Filter Press

Water Treatment Plant :

The total water requirement will be met from the ground water source.
Total water requirement from bore wells will be 30 m3/day..
No ground water shall be used for the project.
It shall be met only through GIDC water supply.
Effluent Treatment Plant:
The domestic wastewater generation from the project shall not exceed
4.5 m3/day and it shall be disposed off through septic tank – soak pit.
The industrial wastewater generation from the project will be 17.2 m3/day; including
2.7 m3/day of process effluent and 14.5 m3/day of effluent from utilities.
The process effluent to the tune of 2.7 m3/day shall be treated in the ETP having Primary and Secondary Treatment facilities.
The treated process Effluent from the ETP [2.7 m3/day] along with other effluent from the utilities [14.5 m3/day] shall be passed
through the R.O. system.
R.O permeate water [12.9 KL/day] and steam condensate [4 KL/day] shall be recycled back in process whereas R.O. reject effluent [4.3 KL/day] shall be completely evaporated with help of the MEE.
Condensate from MEE [3.3 KL/day] shall be completely reused in gardening / plantation within the premises.
Hence, there shall be no industrial effluent discharge from the unit.
