Vince Décor Pvt. Ltd. plans to set up an Epoxy Resin  Production Plant  having capacity of 4500 Ton/Month   at Sampa Village , Tal: Dehgam in Gandhinagar District, Gujarat.

Capacity :

Resin Plant  : 4500 Ton/Month


The unit will manufacture following product as INTERMEDIATE PRODUCT  for its  Laminated Sheet manufacturing Unit:

1. Phenol formaldehyde Resin      1500 Tons/Month

2. Melamine Formaldehyde Resin 1000 Tons/Month

3. Urea Formaldehyde Resin         1500 Tons/Month

4. Polyvinyl Acetate                              500   Tons/Month

As 0n  January 21, 2014 : The Project is  under Planning Stage.

 

Total Plant area is 16,646  Sq. Meter.

Out of this 2,072 Sq. Meter will be utilized to set up the plant .

 

IMPORTANT: As per the discussion we had last with

Vince Décor Pvt. Ltd.  on 16. 01.2014, the project is under planning stage.

 

 The Project Work is likely to start from Mid of February,2014.   


 The Project   is Scheduled to be  Completed by

Within 6-7 Months from the date of commencement

of Project Work.

The Main Scope of Supply includes:

Boiler       : 5 TPH  - 2 Nos..

                 Fuel           :  Lignite Coal/ Agro Waste 

                 Stack         :  30 Meter

 

Heat Exchanger, Air Preheater 

 

Melamine Formaldehyde Dryer

 

Pullution Control Equipment:

Bag Filter, Scrubber

The unit will install Bag Filter to control particulate matter emissions.

The vent of adequate height (30 m) will be installed to disperse the

emissions to reduce ground level concentrations to satisfactory levels.

 

Fugitive emissions of Phenol and Formaldehyde may result from the

Storage Tanks

Distillation Reactor

Condenser

Vacuum line

Sample ports, and

Vents of the processes.

 

To control fugitive emissions following steps will be implemented in the

proposed unit :

Breather Valves and Nitrogen Blanketing systems will be

provided for all the storage tanks to minimize vapor losses.

 

Closed Handling System for chemicals will be provided.

To control gaseous emission from the Rector and Condenser,

Wet Scrubber will be installed.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS:

Phenol Formaldehyde Resin:

 First all raw materials like phenol, formaldehyde & caustic will be added into

Limped Reaction Vessel.

 Stirring & heating will be done upto 60 DgC. After then stop heating.

 Reflux is done for 30 minutes upto 98 Deg C.

Vacuum distillation will be started.

 Water will be removed from the vessel as per the batch size.

 Cooling will start up at 40 Deg C.

 Methanol will be added for dilution purpose.

 Phenol Formaldehyde Resin will be ready for use in Laminate sheets.

 

Melamine Formaldehyde Resin:

 First all the raw materials melamine, formaldehyde & caustic will be added in

Limped Reaction Vessel.

 Stirring & heating will be done upto 95 DegC for 1 Hr.

 Cooling will start up at 30 Dg C.

 Melamine Formaldehyde Resin will be ready for use in Laminate sheets..

 

Urea Formaldehyde Resin:

 First all the raw materials Urea & formaldehyde will be added in

Jacketed reaction vessel.

 pH will be adjusted to pH 9.0.

 Stirring & heating will be done upto 95 Deg C for 50 Minutes.

 Heating will be continued until tolerance (10:40) is achieved.

 pH will be adjusted to 9 by adding Caustic.

 Cooling will start.

 Urea Formaldehyde Resin will be ready for use & collected into Barrels.


Polyvinyl Acetate:

•  First to take required quantity of Vinyl Acetate Monomer (VAM) and Polyvinyl Acetate in the Reactor

• Then add water and catalyst in the Reactor

• To Maintain temperature between 75° C to 85° C.

• Polyvinyl Acetate emulsion ready.

The water requirement for cooling works out to be 10 m3/Day, 

DG sets :  250 KVA -  1 No.                                 

For back up in the common areas as well as for essential services

above capacity D.G.set will be installed..
