1. FOOD PROCESSING
Himalya International Ltd is setting up a food processing plant worth
Rs 125 crore in Gujarat.
The unit will have 50 tonnes per day mushroom processing capacity,
most of which will be exported to USA. It will also have milk
processing capacity of 15,000 tpd for making cheese, yogurt and other
frozen foods.
The company also has plans to launch its food products under its own
brand name 'Himalya Fresh' from February 2009, and supply it through
retail stores.

2. RfP for flyover in Kolkata
Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority has invited RFP for the
construction of the Rs 153-crore Vivekananda Road flyover project
(phase-I) from Howrah Bridge approach to Chitta Ranjan Avenue on
turnkey basis under JNNURM.
The scope of work for the developer includes design and execution of
the project as well as operation and maintenance for an initial period
of two years.
The RFQ document is priced at Rs 20,000 and will be available till
January 20, 2009. The last date of submission is January 28, 2009.
