Punjab Acid-Chem Private Limited plans to expand its Chemical Manufacturing Unit that involves expansion of its Sulphuric Acid production Capacity of from 75 TPD to 200 TPD along with setting up of new production line to produce Oleum : 70 TPD, Di-Methyl Sulphate : 30 TPD, Sodium Bi-sulphite : 30 TPD, Sulfamic Acid : 30 TPD and Liquid SO3 : 30 TPD at Village: Behra, Gulabgarh-Behra Road, Derabassi in Mohali, Punjab.

Location : Village: Behra, Gulabgarh-Behra Road,
Derabassi in Mohali, Punjab.
As 0n January 08, 2015 : The Project is under Planning Stage.
The expansion project would come up within existing 10 Acres of Land .
IMPORTANT: As per the discussion we had on 29.12.2014 with Punjab Acid-Chem Private Limited the Project is under Panning .
The company is now waiting for “Environment Clearance.
The project is a bit delayed due to the delay in getting “Environment Clearance.
The project work is likely to start by
Mid of 2015.
The Project is Scheduled to be Completed by
by March, 2016.

Effluent Treatment Plant:
The Effluent Treatment scheme will comprise of
Stage – 1 -Primary Treatment
Stage – 2 - Secondary Treatment
Stage – 3 - Tertiary Treatment
The effluent generated from the the plant will be mainly from Process, Washings, Scrubbers, Cooling Towers & Boiler Blow downs and domestic effluent.

Fire fighting System as per TAC norms.
Green Belt Development plan in 33 % area and a scheme for Rainwater Harvesting have to be put in place.
