GEM Sugar Ltd. is expanding sugar manufacturing Capacity from 6500 TCCD to 7500 TCCD along with a NEW ETHANOL unit in Karnataka.

Location : Bagalkot, Karnataka
As 0n May 03, 2010 : Work on the Project is underway.
Expansion of Sugar unit will be commissioned by November,2010 whereas Distillery will be commissioned by March 2011,
The scope of Work includes:
Supply of Mill house equipment, Cane/material handling equipment, Sulphation Equipment , Boiling House Equipment, Lime Station equipment, Water Treatment Plant, Sewerage Treatment Plants, Pumps, Valves, Laying Of Pipeline, Making of Storage Tank etc. etc.
