Expansion Of its Chemical Unit
Neelikon Food Dyes And Chemicals Limited plans for expansion programme at its chemicals unit at MIDC-Dhatav-Roha, Taluka-Roha in Raigad District, Maharashtra.
The project involves expansion of Synthetic Coal Tar Dyes, Lakes & Pigments for Food, Drug Cosmestic, Personal Care and Ink Industires, Natural Colours and Chemicals from 150 Ton/Month to 850 Ton/Month.
Capacity Expansion : From 150 Ton/Month to 850 Ton/Month
Project Cost : Rs. 114 Crores
Location : MIDC-Dhatav-Roha, Taluka-Roha
Raigad District, Maharashtra

As on April 13, 2016 : The Project is under Planning Stage .
Total site area is 39569 Sq. Meters
An area of about 5541.51 Sq. Meters will be developed with green belt.
IMPORTANT: As per the the discussion we had
on 05.04.2016 with Neelikon Food Dyes And Chemicals Limited
the Project is under Panning Stage.
The company is waiting for Environmental Clearance.
The Project is Scheduled to be Completed
in 12 - 15 Months from the date of the commencement
of the project work.

Stack / Dia.: 20 Meters/ 500 mm
Heat Exchangers, Air Pre-heater/Economiser)
Wet Scrubber for arresting fly ash
Air Polution Control:
There will be flue gas stack and one process gas stack which will be the main emission source from the plant.
Proper Stack height and air pollution control measures will be provided in order to achieve norms prescribed by statutory authority.
For Boilers Cyclone & Bag filter will be provided with Stack.
Single Stage Scrubber will be also be provided.
The process emissions from the process are Ammonia and HCl and will be scrubbed with caustic and scrubbed waste will be sent to MEE.
The other gases expected in the process are Carbon dioxide, will be let out into atmosphere.

Effluent Treatment Plant:
Capacity : 1500 KLD
Existing E.T.P. is designed for 500 KLD
and it is proposed to be expanded to 1500 KLD capacity.
Reverse Osmosis Plant
Total effluent generated in the project is 1438 m3/day .
The treated water will be reused for plant operations.
The process waste water from Process, floor Washes, scrubbers, QC and R&D are
evaporated in MEE with stripper and ATFD after neutralization.
The condensate from MEE and ATFD will be collected and treated in effluents treatment plant along with
effluents from utilities followed by RO. RO rejects will be send back to MEE and RO
Permeate will be re-used back.
To treat the sewage generated due to domestic activities will be disposed through
septic tank following by soak pit.
