Revati Cements Private Limited is setting up  a Greenfield Integrated Cement Plant comprising of Cement Plant :

Clinker 2.5 MTPA, Cement 3.0 MTPA along with  Coal Based Captive Power Plant : 45 MW  at Raghuraj Nagar  in  Satna District,

Madhya Pradesh

 

Capacity :

Cement Plant   : 3.0 MTPA 

Clinker             : 2.5 MTPA 

 

Captive  Power Plant     :  45 MW

  (Coal Based)

The company will also lease Two Limestone Mines

    (Lease area 766.22 Ha & 140.618 Ha).

 

Lime Stone Mine :   3.5 MTPA 

(Lease area 766.22 Ha)             of Limestone Production

 

Lime Stone Mine :   0.5 MTPA 

(Lease area 140.618 Ha)           of Limestone Production

About Revati Cement :

Revati Cements Private Limited is promoted by Ruchi Group of Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The Group has well established manufacturing and trading facilities for Soyabean Products, Agri-Business, Oils and Fats, Flat Steel, Galvanized Steel and Cold Rolled Steel etc.

To keep pace with the rapidly changing industrial scenario, the group plans to diversify into Cement Sector too.

 

As 0n  May 09, 2011 :  The  Project is  under  planning stage.

 

The project is coming up on about 60.59 Ha of land.

Out of this Built up area 50.59 Ha (125 Acre)  is for Cement Plant

& Captive Power Plant and  10 Ha is for   Colony.

Green Belt Area : 19.80 Ha.

IMPORTANT: As per the discussion we had on 06.05.2011 with  Revati Cements Private Limited the project is under planning stage.

The Land has been acquired.

The company has received the MoEF Clearance.

 

 The project work is likely to start within 3 to 4 Months.

 

 The Project   is Scheduled to be  Completed

By March,2013 .

The Main Scope of Supply includes:

 

Boiler ( For CPP) – Coal Fired

 

Rotary Klin: Rotary kiln with multistage preheater and 

precalcinator fo Clinkerisation of the raw meal.

The cement plant will manufacture PPC (1.2 MTPA) and

 OPC (1.8 MTPA).

Dry process will be used for cement production.

Vertical Roller Mill will be provided for Drying and Grinding the raw materials.

Bended raw material will be fed to Pyro-Processing section (kiln) and heated at 14500C for clinker formation.  Clinker will be cooled and ground at closed circuit ball mills.

 

In Captive Power Plant, chemical energy of coal will be converted to heat energy for steam generation which will be used to cement mechanical energy in a turbine to electrical energy.

 

Limestone Mining

Limestone mining will be carried out by Mechanized Opencast method of mining.

Mining will include the following activities:

- Removal of Over Burden

- Drilling & Blasting

- Crushing of Limestone

- Loading

- Transportation to the cement plant via Conveyor Belts

 

In Lime Stone Mines Crusher will be provided with Water Spray on the Hopper and at material transfer points.

Air Polution Control Equipment:

Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) will be provided to cement mill and power plant. 

During transportation of mineral from mine to cement plant site, water will be

sprinkled on haul roads. Wet drilling will be done during dust suppression.

Water Spray will be done to control dust generated during loading, transportation,

unloading and crushing etc. 

The key emissions generated from Plant process & Limestone mining (i.e.

drilling, blasting, loading, haulage and other transport activities during mine

operation) are particulate matter, Oxides of Nitrogen (NOX) and Sulphur dioxide

(SO2). High efficiency ESP/bag house will be installed with boilers, cooler, kiln,

coal mill and cement mill to meet the PM (Particulate Matter) emission level of

less than the prescribed limit. Fugitive emission shall be controlled by proper

covered storage facilities for raw material & product. Proper water sprinkling shall

be carried out at the mine site & material transfer points.

De-mineralised water from the storage tank will be pumped to the boiler with the

aid of Boiler Feed Pump. The boiler feed water through an Economizer will

the Steam drum and water walls where it is heated and converted to

saturated steam.

 

The steam from the main steam header will be  taken to the

Turbo–Generators. After rotating the turbinethe exhaust steam is

condensed in the Air Cooled Condensers and the

condensed water is pumped to the De-Aerator and fed back to the boilers.

The following air pollution control systems/ measures are proposed in the Plant

1. All Conveyors will be completely covered with G.I. sheets to control fugitive  dust.

2. All bins will be totally packed and covered so that there will not be any chance for dust leakage.

3. All the Dust Prone Points Material Handling systems to be connected with  de-dusting system with bag filters.

4. All Discharge Points and Feed points, wherever the possibility of dust 

    generation is   there a de-dusting suction point will be provided to collect the dust.

5. The collected Dust from the Bag house of Steel Melting to be taken to a dust     storage bin through a Pneumatic Conveying system.

 

Water Treatment Plant

Water requirement will be 3000 m3/Day for the integrated project.

 

Source of Water: The water requirement will be met

from Satna River.

Effluent Treatment Plant

Industrial waste water will be generated from power plant only and will be used

for ash quenching. Domestic effluent will be generated mainly from office toilets

and township, which will be treated in the STP and treated effluent will be

recycled for green belt development and the STP sludge will be used as manure

for green belt development within the plant premises. Hence, the Integrated

Project will be a “Zero Discharge Unit”.
