Trident Limited Plans to Set Up

      2X30 MW  Coal Based CPP

Trident Limited (belongs to Trident Group) plans to set up a

2X30 MW Coal Based Captive Thermal Power Plant  at its existing Trident Group  Complex at Budhni Village, Sehore District,

Madhya Pradesh..

Capacity :

Captive Power Plant  : 2 X 30 MW

Location :

Budhni Village, Sehore District

Madhya Pradesh

               ,

As 0n  December 28, 2011 : The Project is  under Planning Stage.

The Power Plant would come up on about 95 Acres of Land .

Total land is 600 Acres. Out of this Area of textile unit is 134 Acres,

Green belt area is  200 Acres, the rest is open area.

IMPORTANT: As per the discussion we had on 19.12.2011 with Trident Limited , the Project is under Panning Stage now.

The  above Power Plant will cater the power need of the Company’s Textile unit in same complex.

The company is just waiting to get the Clarence from State Pollution Control Authorities.

The project work is expected to start  from  January, 2012.

The Project  is Scheduled to be  Completed

by April,2013

The Main Scope of Supply includes:

Boiler: 150 TPH, Coal fired

    {@105 at a working pressure}

 (Circulating Fluidized Bed Combustion Boiler)

Fuel  : Coal will be the fuel for proposed power generation. The proposed power plant will bebased on Indian cola/ Imported coal. The Coal consumption in the plant depends upon the thermal efficiency of the boiler and also the mechanical efficiency of the turbine. Imported coal will be sourced for this Power plant  as Fuesl

The coal consumption will be  to the tune of 820 TPD .

.

Heat Exchanger, Air Pre- Heater/ Economiser

Steam turbine : Capacity 30 MW –2 Nos

Coal handling system

Ash handling system

Air Cooled Condenser

Power plant Stack (100 m Height)

Fuel system

Closed Cycle Cooling Water System

Alternator

Air Pollution Control Equipment :

High Efficiency Electro Static Precipitators (ESP)

The main sources of dust pollution are 150 TPH CFBC boiler the proposed power plant. The Exhaust emissions of proposed 150 TPH CFBC boiler will be treated in an Electro Static Precipitator, designed for an outlet concentration of less than 50 mg/Nm3 and the emissions from the proposed power plant after treating in ESP will be let out into the atmosphere through a tall stack height of 100 m. A separate Dedusting system will be provided to control the fugitive emissions from various material transfer points.

Dust Suppression System like fog type and water spray system will be

installed in the material unloading areas like fog type and water spray system will be

installed in the material unloading areas.

Power Production Process:

The whole process comprises of generating heat energy in the boiler and then converting heatenergy generated in the boiler into mechanical energy in the turbine and further converting this mechanical energy generated in the turbine into electrical energy in the alternator. Coal will be used as fuel in the boiler. The combustion of the fuel generates the heat energy in the boiler. The heat energy is transferred to heat transfer area provided in different areas like (bed coils, water wall, steam drawn/mud drum, bank tubes, economizer, super heater, air preheater).

This heat will be transferred to the water which will pass through and steam is

generated and this steam will be further super heated in the super heater so that dry super

heated steam will be generated. The quantity of the steam generated in the boiler will be 150 TPH (MCR). This steam will be fed into the turbine and this steam expands in the turbine and generates mechanical energy will be converted into electrical energy in the alternator. The power generated at the alternator terminal is 60 MW.

All the Conveyors will be covered with GI sheets to prevent the fugitive dust emission into the atmosphere.

Water sprinkler & Bag filter at transfer points.

Cooling Tower

(Closed Cycle Cooling Water System)

DG Set : A DG set  will be installed to meet the power  requirement

for  Emergency ( ie. During  Power Failure)

Compressors

Water Treatment Plant

Filters,  Clarifier , DM Plant , RO Plant

Pumps Valves, Custom Pipeline Work

The project will  require  6600 m3/day.

Source of water :  River Narmada

A  Dedicated Pipeline will be laid from River Bed to the plant for conveyance of water.

Waste Water & Effluent Treatment Plant:

The Boiler Blow Down will be taken to cooling ponds one after the other and then taken to a common guard pond.

The D.M. Plant regenerant waste will be neutralized, and then taken to a

common guard pond, where it is mixed with the boiler blow down and then used for green belt development.

The Domestic Sewage will be treated in Septic tank and dispersed in the

dispersion trench.

The total Wastewater Generated from the plant would be
to the tune of 1440 m3/ Day.

The Capacity of  Waste water treatment ETP:  1500 m3/ Day

The Capacity of  Waste water treatment STP  : 200 m3/ Day

Solid Waste Management

The Bottom ash generated at captive power plant boiler will be collected in hoppers and is conveyed to the coarse ash silos situated near the boiler. The Fly ash & Bottom ash will be stored in the dry ash silos within the power plant premises for transport to brick manufacturing units/ cement plants.

.

Other Equipments :

Material Handling Equipment : Conveyor, Screen, Crushers, Hydraulic Equipment/Cranes.

All the Conveyors will be covered with GI sheets to prevent the fugitive dust emission into the atmosphere.

DG Set, Air Compressor. Gear Box, Insulation, Valves, Pipes & Tubes, Cables, Automatic Weighing Machines for Bulk & Liquid Materials. Pressure Filler, Storage Tank, Cooling Tower/ Plant,

Air Conditioning Plant,

Complete Laboratory Equipments  etc

Fire Fighting System shall be as per the TAC Norms.

Green Belt Development plan in 200 Acres area Rain water harvesting pits will be constructed to harvest the roof top water inconsultation with State Ground Water Board.

Scope Of Entire Civil & Construction Work:

Construction of Office Building, Factory  Shed- Boiler House, Substation-Control Panel- Electrical Work, Plumbing Work, Structural Steel fabrication and Erection Work, Fabrication  Storage Tank, Vessels etc. etc.
