Oneiro Chemicals Ltd. to expand the production capacity of its Organic Chemicals manufacturing Unit from 16.8 Ton/Month to 37.5 Ton/Month at Ekalbara Village, Taluka: Padra in Vadodara, Gujarat.
Capacity Expansion :
Organic Chemicals Manufacturing Unit
From 16.8 Ton/Month to 37.5 Ton/Month
It envisages changes in existing quantity and addition of some new products to the plant and thus the processing capacity.
Products (after expansion):
2-Chloromethyl-3, 5-diemthyl-4- methoxy pyridine hydrochloride or Omeprazole powder/& its Intermediate (20 TPM), Clopidogrel HS/& its Intermediate (5 TPM) ,Pentaprazole (5 MTPM), 4,7-dichloroquinoline (2 MTPM), 4-(2, 3-Epoxypropoxy)-9H-carbazole (2 MTPM), Dextromethorphan HBr( 3 MTPM ) & Montelucast (0.5 TPM).
From the proposed plant Ammonium sulphate, Sodium Nitrate solution/powder, Hydrochloric acid, ortho phosphoric Acid & Caustic Solution will be recovered as by products.

As on June 17, 2015 : The Project is under Planning Stage .
The company is located on a plot measuring 18,539 Sq. Meter for its production activities. The company wants to carry out its expansion activities in the adjoining land measuring 10,629 Sq. Meter.
IMPORTANT: As per the the discussion we had on 12.06.2015 with Oneiro Chemicals Ltd.
the Project is under Panning Stage.
The Project Work is likely start by September, 2015.
The Expansion Project is Scheduled to be Completed
in 10 - 12 Months from the date of commencement of the project.

Stack : Height- 15 Meters / Dia : 200 mm

Air Polution Control:
Air pollution will basically be generated from the combustion of Agro – Briquettes as fuel in boiler and Thermic Fluid Heater & Process vents and fugitive emissions due to raw material transfer. Boiler will be equipped with stacks of suitable height and to control fugitive emission company will provide scrubber followed by stack with suitable height and monitoring facility.
HCl, Chlorine and Nox scrubbers will be installed to control the process emissions.

Existing Status of Heating Equipment:
Presently the company is operating one No. FO Fired Boiler.
The company will discontinue using its existing Boiler and proposes to install 2 New Boilers and a Thermic Fluid Heater for its proposed expansion. Out of these one boiler will be kept as a standby.

The Source of water will be met from Bore Well.

The total water consumption will be around 176 KLD. Out of which, R.O plant
will require 92 KL/Day of water for generating 55 KL/Day of R.O water which
will be used for process and boiler makeup..
Details of Waste Water Generation (After Expansion )
1.Domestic : 10 m3/Day
2.Process Water : 28 m3/Day
3.Boiler : 3 m3/Day
4.Cooling : 15 m3/Day
5.Washing : 5 m3/Day
6. R.O. Plant : 37 m3/Day
7. Scrubber : 1 m3/Day

Total: 99 m3/Day.
The total waste water generation will be 99 KL/Day, out of which 10
KL/Day will be domestic waste water which will be sent to soak pit. Rest
89 KL/Day industrial wastewater & Washing water will be sent to EICL
(Common Effluent Treatment Plant), CETP, Padra for its further treatment
and disposal.
Effluent Treatment Plant:
Capacity : 100 m3/ Day
(Total Industrial Waste Water : 99 m3/ Day)
The Company will have a full pledged Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to treat
the effluent as per the norms.
