Asian Fine Cements Plans to Set Up

Asian Fine Cements Pvt. Ltd. plans to set up a Cement Plant
having capacity of 1.5 MTPA at Rajgarh Village, Rajpura Tehsil in Patiala District, Punjab.
Capacity :
Cement Plant : 1.5 MTPA
Location : Rajgarh Village, Rajpura Tehsil
Patiala District, Punjab
As on October 10, 2014 : The Project is under planning stage.
The project is coming up on about 6o Bighas of land.
Out of this 20 Bighas of area will be developed as Green Belt.
IMPORTANT: As per the discussion we had on 04.10.2014 with Asian Fine Cements Pvt. Ltd. the project is under planning stage.
The company is waiting for for necessary Clearances.
The Civil work is likely to start from
December,2014.
The Project is Scheduled to be Completed in One & Half Years from the date of commencement of the project, latest By June,2016 (tentatively) .

The Main Scope of Supply includes:
Rotary Klin: Rotary kiln with multistage preheater and
precalcinator fo Clinkerisation of the raw meal.
Kiln will be provided with Bag house, ESP for Cooler and Bag filters for Coal mill and Cement will be provided.
Manufacturing Process :
The manufacturing process involves crushing of limestone, grinding of raw materials, homogenization of raw meal, pyroprocessing, clinker making, clinker storage, and cooling, cement making and blending with fly ash, packing and dispatch.

Dry process will be used for cement production.
Vertical Roller Mill will be provided for Drying and Grinding the raw materials.
Bended raw material will be fed to Pyro-Processing section (kiln) and heated at 14500C for clinker formation. Clinker will be cooled and ground at closed circuit ball mills.
In Lime Stone Mines Crusher will be provided with Water
Spray on the Hopper and at
material transfer points.

Air Polution Control Equipment:
Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) will be provided to cement Mill.
During transportation of mineral from mine to cement plant site, water will be
sprinkled on haul roads. Wet drilling will be done during dust suppression.
Water Spray will be done to control dust generated during loading, transportation, unloading and crushing etc.
Particulate Matter from grinding unit will be arrested in the bag filter
and will not be allowed to go into atmosphere. Solids from bag house
will be reuse.
All transfer points also will have Bag Filters. The emissions from all the Pollution Control Equipment will be restricted to less than 50 mg/nm3

One Additial Dg Set of 1000 KVA willbe installed for stand by arrangement..

The following air pollution control systems/ measures are proposed in the Plant
1. All Conveyors will be completely covered with G.I. sheets to control fugitive dust.
2. All bins will be totally packed and covered so that there will not be any chance for dust leakage.
3. All the Dust Prone Points Material Handling systems to be connected with de-dusting system with bag filters.
4. All Discharge Points and Feed points, wherever the possibility of dust
generation is there a de-dusting suction point will be provided to collect the dust.
5. The collected Dust from the Bag house of Steel Melting to be taken to a dust storage bin through a Pneumatic Conveying system.
Water Treatment Plant
Sand Filter, Iron Filter, ACF, DM Plant,Tube Settlers etc.
Pumps Valves, Custom Pipeline Work
Water requirement will be 25m3/Day .
Source of Water: The water requirement will be met from Ground water source..
(Ghagar River is flowing at a distance of 1 kms from the unit.)
Effluent Treatment Plant
Wastewater will be generated plant, which will be treated in ETP.
STP Sludge, about 10 kg/month, will be used as manure .
Treated effluent upto tertiary level from STP will be used for plantation etc. within the premises.
However during rains whole of the treated water will go to the nearest
natural drains where ample dilution will take place.
Material Handling Equipment – Conveyors, Screen, Crushers, Feeders, Cement Grouting Pumps, Air Pollution Control Equipments, Gear Boxes, Cooling Tower, Blowers, E.O.T.Cranes, Hydraulic Equipments, Complete Laboratory Equipments, Water line Valve, Pump, Storage Tank, Vessels, Pipeline etc. etc.
Fire fighting System as per TAC norms.
Green Belt Development plan in 33 % area and a scheme for Rainwater Harvesting have to be put in place..
