60 KLD Distillery with Captive Power

N V International Private Limited plans to set up a 60 KLD Grain Based Distillery along with 4 MW Captive Power Plant (Coal Based) at Village Badhauli, Tehsil Naraingarh in Ambala District, Haryana.
It will manufacture ENA (Extra Neutral Alcohol).
Capacity :
Distillery : 60 KLD
Captive Power Plant : 4 MW
( Fuel : Coal/Rice Husk/ Pet Coke)
No. of working days of distillery will be 330 days.
Location : Village Badhauli, Tehsil Naraingarh
Ambala District, Haryana
As 0n July 26, 2012 : The Project is under Planning Stage .
The unit would come up on about 2.8 ha (6.9 acres) of Land .
Green belt will be developed in 0.84 ha out of total land 2.8 ha.
IMPORTANT: As per the the discussion we had
on 12.07.2012 with N V International Private Limited the Project is under Panning Stage.
The project work is likely to start in
August/September 2012
The Project is Scheduled to be Completed
by March 2013.

The Main Scope of Supply includes:
Boiler : *25 TPH
(*may be increased to 40 TPH)
Fuel : *Coal/Rice Husk/ Pet Coke
Stack Height : 45 M
Heat Exchanger, Air Pre- Heater/ Economiser
*Coal/ Rice Husk/ Pet Coke :
Coal (215-220 TPD)/Rice husk (250-265 TPD )/
Pet coke (100-110 TPD) will be used as fuel.
Raw Materials : Grains -sorughum (Jawar)/Bajra/wheat/rice/maize), sulphuric acid, sodium hydroxide (caustic) & Calcium Hydroxide, enzymes (Alfa-Amylase and Amylo Glucosidase) will be used as raw materials.
Air Pollution Control Equipment :
Electrostatic Precipitators/ Bag Filter
To control the particulate emissions from Coal Fired boiler will be controlled by ESP and emissions will be dispersed through Stack Height of 45 Meters.
Steam generated from the boiler will be utilized in the generation of
4 MW Power and wil also be used for Boiler feed water heating and Distillery.
Flue gases after super heating the steam will pass through Economizer where they will Pre-Heat the boiler Feed water before it enters the boiler drum. After Economizer, flue will pass through Air Pre-Heaters where they will heat the air which will be fed to the boiler furnace for burning the fuel.
After Air Pre Heaters flue gases will pass through an Electro Static Precipitator where the Dust Particles will be collected on charged electrodes. After passing through ESP, clean flue gases with dust particle concentration also known as SPM level less than
100 mg/Nm3 through a Chimney of prescribed height.
The dust will be collected from the bottom of the ESP.
High pressure superheated steam from boiler will pass through a Steam Turbine and at the lower pressure will go to the condenser.
The part of the steam will be extracted from the extraction points provided on the turbine, which will be used for distillery.
The condensed steam will return to the steam boiler as condensate and will again be boiled as steam.
While passing through the turbine, the high pressure and temperature steam will rotate the turbine rotor and an Electric Alternator mounted on the same shaft.
Electric power will be generated by the alternator. This electric power generated will be consumed in house i.e. for running the distillery and utilities like boilers auxiliaries etc. and surplus power will be exported to the state grid.

Use of Air Cooled Condenser to be used to reduce water consumption.
All the Conveyors will be covered with GI sheets to prevent the fugitive dust emission into the atmosphere.

The fresh water requirement of the proposed project is estimated as
739 m3/day and will be sourced from Ground.
Total fresh water requirement from ground water should not exceed 10 KL/KL
of alcohol (i.e. 450 m3/day) for distillery and 180 m3/day for cogeneration unit (4.0 MW).
Effluent Treatment Plant
Waste water will be generated from the plant will be treated in ETP.
Domestic Effluent wiil be sent to soak pit.
Industrial effluent will be taken to ETP plant and then finally discharged into the ECP Channel.
Grain Slops (Spent Wash) will be taken through Centrifuge Decanters for separation of Suspended Solids separated as Wet Cake and which goes as cattle feed as it contains higher protein and fibre content

DG Set, Air Compressor. DC/VFD Drive, Gear Box, Insulation, Valves, Pipes & Tubes, Cables, Automatic Weighing Machines for Bulk & Liquid Materials. Straight Line Steam Tunnel, Pneumatic Piston Filler, Pressure Filler,Storage Tank, Cooling Tower/ Plant, Air Conditioning Plant, Complete Laboratory Equipments etc
Fire Fighting System shall be as per the TAC Norms and cover all areas where alcohol is produced, handled and stored.
Provision of Foam System for Fire Fighting to control fire from the alcohol storage tank.
Green Belt Development plan in 33 % area
(Approx. 0.84 Acres) and a scheme for Rainwater Harvesting have to be put in place.
