The capacity of plant will be 10.70 MT(per Month)
The plant will have a production capacity (per month) of:
Amlodipine Besylate 1.50 MT
Clopidogrelbysulphate 1.50 MT
Olmesartan 1.00 MT
Lamivudine 1.50 MT
Levo cetrizine Di HCl 1.00 MT
Losartan Potassium 0.50 MT
Montelukast 0.60 MT
Pantoprazole Sodium 0.60 MT
ramadol HCl 0.60 MT
Turbinafin 0.40 MT
Valsartan 1.50 MT

APIIC Industrial Estate, Ballapur, Hindupur, District Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh.
As on November24, 2012 : The Civil work is Under Progress.
The land area acquired for the project is 8942.40 m2.
Project History:
1. Our Report on 24.06.2010
As per the discussionwe had last with Mr. K. Obulesh, Director Of Varahi Pharma Pvt. Ltd. on 22. 06.2010, the company is just waiting for the Environmental Clearance that they expect to obtain within next 2 months.
On receipt of Environmental Clearance they will Start Civil Construction for office & Factory on war-footing which will take another 5-6 months to complete.
They will start the procurement of Plant & Machineries as soon as office & Factory has been ready.
2. Our Report on 11.10.2010
(Please refer our Earlier Report of 26.06.2010). The Project is now delayed by about 6(Six) Months. As per the discussion we had last with Mr. K. Obulesh, Director Of Varahi Pharma Pvt. Ltd. on 06. 10.2010, the company is just waiting for some Essential Clearance from State Govt.
As per Mr. Obulesh, Civil Construction will start positively fromOctober,2011 .
The Project is Scheduled to be Completed
by December, 2012.
Latest Status : As per the discussion we had last with Varahi Pharma Pvt. Ltd. on 15.11.2012, the Civil work is under Progress.

The Main Scope of Supply includes:

Heat Exchangers, Air Pre-heater/Economiser)
Wet Scrubber for arresting fly ash
Pullution Control Equipment:
Twin Cyclone System/ Bag Filters, Scrubbers, Vent Condensers
Particulate emissions from the 2 TPH Coal Fired Boiler will be controlled by Cyclone Separators. Process emissions in the form of HCl and SO2 will be Scrubbed with Chilled Water media and Caustic Lye solution.
DG Set : A DG set of 150 KVA will be installed to meet the power Requirement for Emergency ( ie. During Power Failure).

Multiple Effect Evaporators

Water Treatment Plant :
(Oxidisation Chamber, Filter/ IRF, DM/ R.O. Plant, MB )
About 67 m3/Day of Water requirement will be met from the APIIC Water.
Effluent Treatment Plant:
About 31 m3/Day of process effluent and 2 m3/Day of domestic effluent will be generated. There will be zero discharge of effluent. The domestic effluent will be disposed through soak pit.
The process Organic Waste will be sent to TSDF or cement industry.
Coal ash will be sold to the brick manufacturers.

Material Handling Equipment : Conveying Systems, Hydraulic Equipments/Cranes. Acid Pumps, Motors, Heat Exchangers, Agitators and Mixers ,Valves, Dryers, Vessels, Custom Pipelines, Storage Tank , Cooling Tower/ Plant, Air Conditioning , Fire Fighting Equipment, Cables, Air Conditioning M/c., Automatic Weighing Machines for Bulk & Liquid Materials, Complete Laboratory Equipments etc.
Green Belt Development plan in 33 % area and a scheme for Rainwater Harvesting have to be put in place.
