   Crux Biotech Plans to Set Up

    60 KLPD Distillery with CPP

Crux Biotech India Private Limited  plans to set up  a
60 KLPD Grain based Distillery along with a  2.5 MW Co-Generation Power Plant in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. 

 

Maize, Corn, Sorghum grain, Broken Rice and Starch based Grains will be used as raw materials.

 

The Unit will manufacture ENA (Extra Neutral Alcohol) & RS (Rectified Spirit)

 

Capacity :

Distillery                    : 60KLPD

Captive Power Plant : 2.5 MW

 

Location :  Village Peddavarm, Nandigama Mandal,

                  District Krishna, Andhra Pradesh.

                    

As on  MAY 20, 2013 : The Project is  under Planning Stage.

  

The unit would come up on about 27 Acres of Land .

 

 Out of 27 Acres, 9 Acres will be developed as Green Belt.

 

IMPORTANT: As per the discussion we had on 10.05.2013
Crux Biotech India Private Limited the Project is under Panning Stage now.

The Land has been acquired.

Environmental  Clarence is in place

The project work is likely to start in  July, 2013.

 

The Project   is Scheduled to be  Completed

by March, 2015 .

 29.09.2011 

Brief :

1. The Licensing part of the project has been completed  yesterday   ie. on 28.0911.

     The company is  now waiting for  final Environmental  Clearances.


So, since the  company is now in the process  to get  the final  Clarence for  this project from State Pollution Control Authority  the RIGHT TIME to contact   and Follow Up at following address in the  Middle of  October, 2011 to  obtain the detailed Enquiry of each product  in time and to

submit your quotation subsequently.

The Main Scope of Supply includes:

Boiler

Biomass/Coal will be used as raw material for Steam generation and Power requirement for ethanol plant.

Air Pollution Control Equipment :

Electrostatic Precipitators/ Bag Filter

To control the particulate emissions from the Rice Husk and Coal  Fired boiler will be controlled by ESP/Bag Filter and emissions will be dispersed through Stack of Suitable Height.

 

State of Art Bag Filter alongwith adequate stack height will be installed to bring down particulate matter to control particular matter within 100 mg/m3.

 

CO2 will be recovered and given to Bottling unit. 

 

Flue gases after super heating the steam will pass through Economizer where they will  Pre-Heat the boiler Feed water before it enters the boiler drum. After Economizer, flue will pass through Air Pre-Heaters where they will heat the air which will be  fed to the boiler furnace for burning the fuel.

 

After Air Pre Heaters flue gases will pass through an Electro Static Precipitator where the Dust Particles will be  collected on charged electrodes. After passing through ESP, clean flue gases with dust particle concentration also known as SPM level less than 100 mg/Nm3 through a Chimney of prescribed height.

The dust will be  collected from the bottom of the ESP.

 

High pressure superheated steam from boiler will pass through a Steam Turbine and at the lower pressure will go to the condenser.

The part of the steam will be extracted from the extraction points provided on the turbine, which will be used for distillery.

 

The condensed steam will return to the steam boiler as condensate and will again be boiled as steam.

 

While passing through the turbine, the high pressure and temperature steam will rotate the turbine rotor and an Electric Alternator mounted on the same shaft.

 

Electric power will be generated by the alternator. This electric power generated will be consumed in house i.e. for running the distillery and utilities like boilers auxiliaries etc.

 

To control the particulate emissions from the Rice Husk and Coal  Fired boiler will be controlled by ESP/Bag House and emissions will be dispersed through Stack of Suitable Height.

 

DG set : DG sets  will be  installed for emergency power

Water Treatment Plant 

Sand Filter, Iron Filter, ACF, DM Plant, Tube Settlers etc.

Pumps Valves, Custom Pipeline Work

 
Water requirement  will be 800 m3/day.

It will be sourced  from Krishna River.

A  Dedicated Pipeline will be laid from River Bed to the plant for conveyance of water.

 

Effluent Treatment Plant

Spent wash will be passed through decanter and thin slop from decanter will be dried in Multiple Effect Evaporators (MEE) followed by dryer upto 90 % solid w/w (DDGS). 

 

Non-process effluent like DM plant, Regeneration water & Boiler Blow Down will be neutralized in neutralization in neutralization tanks and will be mixed with Cooling Tower Blow down..

 

DDGS will be sold to outside parties. Sludge from neutralization tank (2 Kg/day) will be given to APPCB authorized vendors.

 

Ash from coal will be given to brick manufacturers/cement plant. Ash from biomass will be utilized as manure. Waste oil will be disposed to the APPCB approved vendors.

Complete Laboratory Equipments  etc

 

Fire Fighting System shall be as per the TAC Norms and cover all areas where  alcohol is produced, handled and stored.

 

Provision of Foam System for Fire Fighting to control fire from the alcohol storage tank.

 

Green Belt Development plan in 33 % area 

(Approx. 9 Acres) and a scheme for Rainwater Harvesting have to be put in place.
