Heranba Industries Plans For
Expansion Of its Agro-Chemical Unit
Heranba Industries Ltd. plans to expand the production capacity of its Pesticides Technical & Pesticides Intermediates manufacturing unit from *12 Ton/ Month to 610 Ton/ Month at its Unit: I at 3rd phase, G.I.D.C, VAPI. in Valsad District, Gujarat.
Capacity : 610 Ton/ Month
After expansion the plant will have a production capacity of:
Cyper methric Acid Chloride 100 Ton/Month ( Existing Capacity : 12 Ton)
Deltamethrin Technical 30 Ton/Month
Diclorovos Technical 15 Ton/Month
Glyphosate Technical 30 Ton/Month
Lamdacyhalothrin Technical 20 Ton/Month
Permethrin Technical 20 Ton/Month

Total site area is 9740 Sq. Meter
Out of the above 30% will be developed with green belt.
IMPORTANT: As per the the discussion we had
on 24.02.2015 with Heranba Industries Ltd.
the Project is under Panning Stage.
The company is waiting for Environmental Clearance.
The Project is Scheduled to be Completed
in 15 - 18 Months from the date of the commencement
of the project work.

The Main Scope of Supply includes:
Boiler : 5 TPH - 2 Nos.
Fuel : Natural gas (Green fuel)/FO)
Stack : Conical Base, Guy Support, 30 m Height, 400 mm Dia.
Heat Exchangers, Air Pre-heater/Economiser)
Air Polution Control:
At present, the unit is having 1 No. of 5 TPH Steam Boiler.
The company shall install additional 2 Nos. of Steam Boiler having capacity 5 TPH each. Natural Gas/furnace oil will be used as fuel.
Presently the unit has installed 2 Nos. of two Stage Water Scrubber followed by alkali
scrubber to scrub HCl & SO2 gas generated from the process.
After proposed expansion, the unit shall install additional three numbers of two stage water followed by alkali scrubbers to scrub HCl, Br2 & SO2 gas generated from the process. Adequate height of process vent will be provided.

Effluent Treatment Plant:
Capacity : 200 m3/ Day
(Actual Flow of Effluent : 208 m3/Day)
Total effluent generated in the project is 208.98 m3/day .
out of which 138.5 m3 /Day normal Effluent, 48.34 m3 /Day high TDS Effluent & 22.14 m3 /Day high COD/NH3 effluent.
Normal effluent will be treated in primary, secondary & tertiary treatment plant, high TDS will be
treated in MEE & high COD effluent will be incinerated in incineration system.
The process waste water from Process, floor Washes, scrubbers, QC and R&D are
evaporated in MEE with stripper and ATFD after neutralization.
The condensate from MEE and ATFD will be collected and treated in effluents treatment plant along with
effluents from utilities followed by RO. RO rejects will be send back to MEE and RO
Permeate will be re-used back.
To treat the sewage generated due to domestic activities will be disposed through
septic tank following by soak pit.
