Soda ash is used in number of industries as basic raw material

1.The use of soda ash in bifurcated as under.

2.In manufacture of sodium silicate in combination with silica sand.

3.In the manufacture of glass and ceramics.

4.In the manufacture of bichromates. 

Apart from the above, there are various other uses of soda ash. It is used as a raw material in the manufacture of glass, glassware, sodium silicate, paper and pulp.
