THE LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE® WORKSHOP
Thursday, October 20, 2011 and Friday, October 21, 2011
09.00 am - 17.00 pm
Arion Swiss Belhotel Kemang

In Challenge is the Opportunity for Greatness (2007)®, James M. Kouzes and Barry Z. Posner wrote “ Leadership is not a fad. It’s a fact. It’s not here today, gone to morrow. It’s here today, here forever. Leadership matters.” And it matters more in times of uncertainty than in times of stability. And since leadership matters more in times of uncertainty, then leadership development should matter more than ever. If today’s leaders want to morrow’s organizations to thrive, they have an obligation to prepare a new generation of leaders. Stuff happens in organizations and in our lives. Sometimes we choose it, sometimes it chooses us. People who become leaders don’t always seek the challenges they face. Challenges also seek leaders. It is not so important whether you find the challenges or they find you. What is important are the choices you make when stuff happens. The question is, when opportunity knock are you prepared to answer the door ?”
