Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The relationship between Paul and Thessalonians and their faithfulness trusting Jesus as their savior is a great example for all of us.

Are you going through any difficulty for standing firm for your faith? or do you know any one? Paul provides guidance for us to comfort such families.

Please pray and join.

When: Friday, April 11th @ 7.45 PM
Where: CBC, 15815 SE 37th St, Bellevue

Note: We recently started kids ministry and we request to bring kids with Bible, most importantly leave all their electronic(games) devices at home.

2 Thessalonians - Week 5(4/11/14)

Memory verses:
  • Your 2014 promise
  • Memorize names of all Bible books
Read 2 Thessalonians 1 & study book
  1. After past few weeks of meditation of 2 Thessalonians 1, you must have observed Paul's way of encouraging fellow brothers in Christ, and Thessalonians mind-set. List two or three learning from this chapter you would take away.
Read 2 Thessalonians 2 & study book(pg 69-72)
  1. How did Paul describe the state of mind of the Thessalonians(v.2)?
  2. What were some of the devices or tricks employed by the false teachers to confuse and upset the Thessalonian believers(v.2)?
  3. Before the Day of the Lord comes, what events must happen first(v.3)?

Study format: In spirit of encouraging participation and interaction, we will set time to discuss in small groups first 30mins. This helps every one to study together before we discuss as a whole group.
