Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

This is a perfect opportunity to start with new book, we just began to study 2 THESSALONIANS.

Please pray and join.

When: Friday, March 28th @ 7.45 PM
Where: CBC, 15815 SE 37th St, Bellevue

Note: We recently started kids ministry and we request to bring kids with Bible, most importantly leave all their electronic(games) devices at home.

2 Thessalonians - Week 3(3/28/14)

Memory verses:
  • Your 2014 promise
  • 1 Thes 5:8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.
  • 1 Thes 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
  • 2 Tim 3:15-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Read 2 Thessalonians 1 & study book
  • What did Paul say would be the reward of those who persevered in faith?
  • In verses 10 and 12(2 Thessalonian 1), Paul speaks of God being “glorified” by His people, How? What does this mean?
  • Going deeper: Read Matthew 5:10-12, James 1:2-4; and 1 Peter 5:10 about God’s larger purposes in allowing us to undergo difficulty. What do these passages reveal about how God uses suffering for good in the lives of His people?

Study format: In spirit of encouraging participation and interaction, we will set time to discuss in small groups first 30mins. This helps every one to study together before we discuss as a whole group.
