This year's Motto verses are,

1. Let us run with patience ...Looking unto Jesus... - Hebrews 12: 1 and 2

2. Looking unto me and be ye saved .. for I am God - Isaiah 45:22

3. Keep yourselves ... looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ - Jude 21

All the three verses indicate looking forward and not look for anything in the past.  What can we expect in the new year?  It is all the Lord's hands, but it is uncertain to us mortals.  But there are 7 certainties based on the word of God.

If you are sure that you have your life in the hands of the Lord and you are born again, then

A. Certainty 1 - Life - Once you see the Lord at the cross hanging, like the children of Israel in the wilderness lived when they looked at the brazen serpent from the death of serpent bites - Numbers 21:9

B. Certainty 2 - Stability - Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust - Psalm 16:1. When we trust in the Lord, there is stability.

C. Certainty 3 - Revival - All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee - Psalm 22:27 - One day the world will turn to the Lord and we shall witness a great revival.

D. Certainty 4 - Shelter - ... O God of our salvation, who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth - Psalm 65:5 - We have full confidence in our Lord that He is our refuge.

E. Certainty 5 - Deity - I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me - Isaiah 45:5 - He is our God and our savior.

F. Certainty 6 - We are as tool of testimony - ... I will also give thee for a  light to the Gentiles - Isaiah 49:6 - Someone let us to the Lord and made us his children although being Gentiles and we should be able to witness for the Lord.

G. Certainty 7 - Mercy - Can a woman forget her sucking child, and that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me - Isaiah 49: 15 and 16 - We have such a merciful Lord.
