[Indivo-announce] update on the upcoming Indivo X Beta 1

Hi folks,

We wanted to give everyone a quick update on the upcoming Beta 1 of
Indivo X.

The key idea for Indivo X Beta 1 is stability. Indivo X Beta 1 is the
first version that we can say has been sufficiently tested to use in an
early-adopter production environment. We plan to freeze version 1.0 of
the API with this beta version, so that your app development can remain
stable from here on. And if we need to make data model changes in
upcoming beta versions, we will provide upgrade scripts.

To this end, we're working on the last set of small tweaks to the API,
the XML schemas, and the data model. We're performing a good deal of
testing, and we'll be releasing all of these tests of course. We've also
integrated your feedback, especially very useful bug reports from the
folks at Orange (thank you Frederic and team!).

We expect to release Indivo X Beta 1 at the end of October.
