The past weeks have been very exciting for the Indivo project. Here are a few highlights:
- We hosted our annual Indivo Users Meeting (as a webinar) on June 3rd, with over 150 registrants.
Topics discussed included the motivation for the Indivo project, an overview of its architecture, and
its proposed roadmap, along with some words from several partnering organizations using Indivo in
real installations. For those of you who couldn?t make it, we?ve made the webcast available as a video
on our indivohealth website: http://indivohealth.org/news/2011/06/14/screencast-of-the-indivo-x-webinar/
- A big thanks to Thiago Galesi for his significant code contribution enabling the translation of
our Indivo X UI into multiple languages. We accepted his changes via a GitHub pull request (see the code
at http://github.com/chb/indivo_ui_server), and are working to build up some documentation for
Indivo Localization. Any other developers who have added functionality to our Indivo code are encouraged
to submit pull requests via github, so we can add their contributions to the Indivo X core codebase.
- As we ramp up for the Indivo X presentation at the OSCON conference at the end of July, O?Reilly Media
(who runs the conference) has provided us with a promotional code for discount registration. Anyone using
the code ?Haas? to register for this year?s OSCON (at https://en.oreilly.com/oscon2011/public/register) will
receive a 20% discount. Feel free to pass the code on to any parties interested in attending, and make sure
to tell them about the Indivo session!
- As we announced at our webinar, at the OSCON talk we will be announcing the launch of our Indivo X App
Challenge. Start planning now: the most innovative app developed against our Indivo X API will win a prize!
Keep posted for more developments?we?ll continue to post them as they arise.
