Hi Manvendra,

Hope you are doing good!

We’re not receiving email from one of our customers to Indimail box. Please let me know the path on where should I add the IP address to allow the access for enabling receiving.

Thanks,

Shabana

By default no ip addresses are blacklisted in indimail box unless you put deny entry or deny entries in /var/indimail/etc/tcp.smtp

Is the customer getting email bounced? If so, what is the content of the bounce message. The bounce will tell you exactly where the problem is. You can reply back  with the bounced message.

NOTE: DO NOT TOP POST WHEN REPLYING.

Hi Manvendra,

I’m receiving emails to my inbox from this address but not to sdp mailbox which is configured with indimail. I’ve analyzed the logs and this is what I found. Could you please advise further on this?.

Also advice on domain whitelisting. Thanks in advance.

You have sent a screenshot instead of text, which makes it imposible to see the content. The error indicates that the domain name in the MAIL FROM of the SMTP transaction doesn't have a MX record. This makes it impossible to deliver bounces. Hence by default indimail will reject it.

But you can add the domain to /var/indimail/control/nodnscheck in indimail 1.x version or
/etc/indimail/control/nodnscheck

Add a line of the form

@domain_name

NOTE:
In future, if you want help, you will have to post it to the list indimail...@lists.sourceforge.net <indimail...@lists.sourceforge.net> or join indi...@googlegroups.com. I will not entertain requests for help to my personal email id. It doesn't help the community at all.
Also, doesn't look like you still have understood how one should post to technical mailing list. I have already sent you instructions on that. You can use google to find out the etiquettes required when posting to mailing lists. I have series of emails from another of your colleage who is refusing to understand the etiquettes. Please reach out to Bheemashankar kabadagi, so that I can help him.
