The first time was in 1997 and the second time was in 2005.
I labored at FDOC and LEO as a second in command 1997 to 2003 till I accepted my last Chief of Police appointment.
I served one more time as a dual certified deputy sheriff in Florida.

I have always remained active from Feb 1978 to this day. I've never been completely out of the public safety field in 37 years plus and counting
