We would like to invite you to a Webinar on Developing Free Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) Protocols for Indigenous Peoples entitled: Strengthening Indigenous Peoples' Rights through FPIC Protocol on 21 August 2025. 

The webinar aims to:

• Deepen understanding of FPIC as a collective right of Indigenous Peoples and its importance in asserting self-determination and protecting territories. 
• Discuss the key elements of FPIC and how they relate to Indigenous customary governance and collective decision-making processes.
• Support Indigenous representatives in initiating or improving FPIC protocols within their communities.
