This side event will spotlight Peoples’ especially Indigenous Peoples’ collective action to advance the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda, rooted in ancestral knowledge, territorial stewardship, and rights-based advocacy. Through intergenerational dialogue, case studies, and strategic framing, the session will explore how people-led initiatives-such as the Indigenous Navigator, community-based monitoring, and regional climate platforms, are driving transformative change across climate, biodiversity, and sustainable development goals.
