Dear all,

Indigenous Greetings!

We’re thrilled to invite you to a transformative event that puts communities and Indigenous voices at the heart of global change:

📢 From Land to Global Goals: People-Led Collective Action for Climate and Development Justice

 📆November 15

 🕒15:00–16:00 (Brasília Time)

📍SDG Pavilion, D13B, Blue Zone, Belém, Brazil (Blue Zone accreditation required)

🔗Join virtually by scanning the QR code on the poster or through this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/9DnZgxK7RGq19ZdOgioLdg#/registration

This side event will spotlight Peoples’ especially Indigenous Peoples’ collective action to advance the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda, rooted in ancestral knowledge, territorial stewardship, and rights-based advocacy. Through intergenerational dialogue, case studies, and strategic framing, the session will explore how people-led initiatives-such as the Indigenous Navigator, community-based monitoring, and regional climate platforms, are driving transformative change across climate, biodiversity, and sustainable development goals.

The event will feature:

  • Voices from leaders, youth, and women across regions
  • Examples of climate resilience, land restoration, and SDG localization
  • Reflections on systemic barriers and pathways for co-implementation
  • Calls to action for governments, UN agencies, and civil society to uphold Human rights

Co-organized by:

• Indigenous Peoples Major Group for Sustainable Development

• Asia Pacific Regional CSO Engagement Mechanism

• Indigenous Navigator

• Tebtebba (Indigenous Peoples International Centre for Policy Research and Education)

• ELATIA

Whether you’re attending in person or joining virtually, your voice matters. Let’s build a future rooted in justice, equity, and collective action!

Your presence and perspective can help strengthen alliances and amplify people-led solutions. We look forward to seeing you at COP30. If you have any questions, please contact:
