Metis Research Project

PLEASE READ!

This is a personal site. Please don't take anything here as
authoritative or as graven in stone, it is neither. The research
project is still underway. The site is being created as part of a
personal learning process. Nonetheless, some may find something here
useful or informative, which is why it's available on this site.

This is very much a work in progress, it is not even 50% complete at
this point. Therefore, I ask that you not make copies right now, but
bookmark the site and keep checking back as the work is on-going. If
you have comments, want to see something added, or want to discuss
something, please join the egroup.

NOTE

During our Métis families research project, in an attempt to sort out
the many individuals with the same name born around the same time, a
page was created for each individual; even where the info isn't
relevant to our research we've included the page as someone else might
find it helpful. No guarantees are made as to the accuracy of anything
included on this site! Researchers are advised to do their own
research, though they are welcome to use what's here as a starting
point for their own work; we do ask that nothing we've created be
published or linked to from a commercial site (one containing ads
especially), and yes this does include so-called "social" networks that
are for-profit enterprises. (101228)
