Unicode Input with NumLock keys

बिना कोई कीबोर्ड या IME install किए किसी भी युनिकोडित वर्ण को MS word, तथा विण्डोज के word pad आदि में टाइप करने का तरीका है--
पहले NUM-Lock कुंजी दबाकर Numerical Keypad को चालू करें। फिर
ALT key दबाए रखकर जिस अक्षर को टाइप करना चाहते हैं, उसके युनिकोड के हेक्स कोड का डेसिमल कोड Numerical Keypad से टाइप करें।
यथा -- 'क' टाइप करना है तो 'क' के हेक्स युनिकोड (0915) का डेसिमल कोड
ALT+2325
दबाएँ तो 'क' टाइप हो जाएगा।
यह उपाय कुछ प्रोग्रामों में काम करता है, कुछ में नहीं।
सभी से निवेदन है कि टेस्ट करके बताएँ।

कई लेपटाप में NumLock की सुविधा नहीं होती, उनमें इस प्रकार युनिकोड का इनपुट कैसे किया जाए?
तकनीकी के जानकार कोई युक्ति बताएँ?

विनायक जी ALT दबाये रखते हुये (while keeping ALT key down), न्यूमरिक कीपैड से क्रमशः 6,3 दबाने हैं। यदि किसी कारण से वाँछित चिह्न न आये तो 0,6,3 दबायें।

de, select it and press ALT+X. It will be converted to equivalent
Unicode character.
This method will work on laptop/netbook too.

कहीं नहीं दिखी।
यथा ईमेल टाइप करते वक्त किसी ब्राऊजर या किसी ईमेल क्लाइंट में यह सुविधा नहीं मिलती।
किन्तु NUM-Lock से Alt+Decimal कोड सभी जगह काम करता दिखाई देता है। यहाँ तक कि
Dos में भी।

HEX code के बाद ALT+X दबाकर वर्ण टाइप करने की सुविधा सिर्फ MS word में है, अन्य कहीं नहीं दिखी।
केवल ऍमऍस वर्ड ही नहीं किसी भी वर्ड प्रोसैसर यथा वर्डपैड (जो कि विण्डोज़ के साथ इनबिल्ट आता है) में हो जाता है। बाकी ये तो मैं पहले ही कह चुका हूँ कि केवल वर्ड प्रोसैसर में ही होगा सीधे ब्राउजर आदि में नहीं। लैपटॉप आदि पर काम चलाने के लिये इतना तो कॉपी-पेस्ट किया जा सकता है।
