Hi Joydeep!

There are several ways that you can contribute:

If you're a linguist, you can help design news tasks for your mother tongue.
If you're a machine learning enthusiast, you can build and test new models for the tasks of your interest
If you are a programmer, you can help build intuitive interfaces for tagging
most important of all, you can help us tag datasets.
In case of Bengali, there are matras and combined letters that we as of yet do not know how to deal with. We need to figure out ways to deal with that.

Sorry mate I dont live in Kolkata. I can meet with you whenever I am in Kolkata or you are in Bangalore. Other than that all the other suggestions are valid. Do you have something specific in mind? What is the main challenge that you are dealing with right now. Will try to help the best way I can.

Right now our main challenge in getting tagged data especially for tasks like machine translation.

We are currently working on a web app for tagging data. You could contribute to its development. You could also build a similar app for android. Moreover, our website needs some drastic changes and we are also working on a python package that you can contribute too.

Feel free to work on whatever you find interesting.

So 1. a web app 2. an android app 3. a python package. All of these are great. Can you redirect me to the appropriate github links that I can fork.

Let me also share this in my org. I am sure many people would be interested in contributing.
